  • Thank you very much for your information.

@antric The cordless Philips phone is from my grandmother and is at least 18 years old…

    Don’t think it’s certified to the CAT-iq 2.0 standard.

@Walter_Wp I registered the Philips handset with IB Plus because the input of the fiber optic cable and the network cable for distribution in the apartment are housed in the electrical cabinet. The electrical cabinet is housed in the cleaning cabinet. So I would have had to put the base station of the handset in the cleaning cupboard.

So I have no choice but to live with it or buy a new compatible handheld device.

  • No caller number display on DECT telephone

  • Hello everyone

Last week I registered my Philips DECT telephone directly to the IB-Plus.

Unfortunately, the caller number display no longer works on the handset for incoming calls.

Do I have to adjust something on the IB or something else? The caller number display via the Philips base station always worked perfectly.

Thank you very much for your tips

  • @Anonymous When I make a video call, the smartphone switches from 4G to 3G but then the connection is lost. Then ask again in 12 months:smileyhappy:

  • Since last week when the update to OS 7.0 for the Samsung S7 edge came out, call forwarding has been working again for me. Unfortunately, video telephony is still not possible.

  • @Key

Thank you very much for the tip. I tried it on myself and it actually works.

I had tried it in the past but it still didn’t work.

That’s why I wouldn’t have thought of trying it again.

  • I assume you’re talking about MMS because you can’t send pictures via SMS. The data connection must be switched on to transmit MMS. Since you are abroad, data roaming must also be switched on. Otherwise nothing works.

  • What’s funny about that??? I have this regularly when I was abroad, that connections are charged the following month or even later. Especially when I was abroad towards the end of a month, the connections are often only charged two months later. It all depends on how quickly or slowly the foreign provider charges Swisscom’s fees. Absolutely no reason not to pay the bill…:smileylol:

  • @Anonymous Oops sorry, Samsung S7 edge open market with current software.

As I wrote a long time ago, turning call forwarding on and off no longer works for me. Exactly since VoLTE and WiFiCalling were activated on my cell phone. Video telephony has also no longer been possible since then.

  • @Anonymous Is there any news about the problem of switching call forwarding on and off?

I just tried it but it still doesn’t work.

    Error message according to screenshot.

Thank you very much and have a nice weekend

  • Video telephony has always worked problem-free for me for years.

But exactly from the moment (about 4 weeks ago) when VoLTE was activated on my Samsung S7 edge, it no longer works at all.

@seraphan In over 20 years of Swisscom I have NEVER had a Swisscom branding device and it has always worked. In my opinion that has nothing to do with it.

  • Hello Hempoli

I have the same problem. I’ve had a Samsung S7 edge since March 2016 and video telephony no longer works since VoLTE was activated about 4 weeks ago. I can no longer activate or deactivate call forwarding or query the status. Before VoLTE was activated, everything worked great. You can’t adjust anything yourself. Swisscom has to keep its books behind the books.

  • I immediately had this idea to turn off VoLTE when I realized that I could no longer turn redirects on and off. I forgot to mention it in my last post. Still doesn’t work for me either. Video calling doesn’t work either, even though the cell phone switches to 3G.

  • @Alex75 I have the same problem. Since VoLTE was activated for me, I can no longer switch redirections on or off. I always get an error message. Video telephony has also stopped working since then. Neither incoming nor outgoing.

  • @“x”#373368Correct, without an extra update. Suddenly, shortly before 11 p.m., an SMS came “Welcome to the Advanced Calling world…blablabla.” Then I restarted the cell phone and everything was active.

  • That’s how it is and you can’t turn it off. No data will be transmitted at 00:00:00 either. This is just about the data billing of the previous day so that a new data day can start from ZERO.
