Found something about prioritization on Android. To do this, download the app Activity Launcher from the Playstore. Start this and click on “Activity history” at the top right and then select "All activities. Now you should find an entry called “Wi-Fi call” almost at the bottom. Click on it and from the options that now appear, select the one with the I haven’t been able to test the whole thing yet, but I’ll try it out as soon as possible and let you know the results.
P.S.: If you hold down the option a little longer, you can also have a shortcut created on the home screen.:smileywink:

edit: sorry, forgot to mention which device I’m using –> HTC 10 with Swisscom FW

You are my hero! This is exactly the tip I was looking for, it also works perfectly with my HTC 10! Finally…

@All

It would be desirable if someone could advise whether/how Activity Launcher can also control this function on Samsung devices (Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 EDGE), as these devices can also be purchased on the open market. Currently, Swisscom (unlike foreign providers) does not offer the option of setting priority to WiFi calling (the devices switch to mobile communications even when reception is minimal).

My current knowledge is that since Android 5.x (I think) system settings can no longer be changed by apps like Tasker…

For example, activate flight mode as soon as it is 11 p.m., or activate Bluetooth based on the location, etc.

GuidoT: Is there now an approach from technology to solve the problem of call forwarding? Today there was a new update from Samsung on my Galaxy S7. Unfortunately, call forwarding still doesn’t work. It can’t be that it just doesn’t work anymore. You always have to carry two cell phones with you.

Thank you very much for the feedback.

To the Advanced Calling makers: I recently switched from easy smart to infinity2.0S. I’ll never use it, but Advanced Calling was the trigger because every now and then I’m in a basement without cell phone reception but with WiFi reception. What can I say, WiFi calling and VoLTE were activated on my Galaxy S7 edge (not Swisscom) 2 days ago and it works fantastically!

Thank you for the great work you put into this.

Kind regards Roland

@Anonymous Oops sorry, Samsung S7 edge open market with current software.

As I wrote a long time ago, turning call forwarding on and off no longer works for me. Exactly since VoLTE and WiFiCalling were activated on my cell phone. Video telephony has also no longer been possible since then.

@Key

Thank you very much for the tip. I tried it on myself and it actually works.

I had tried it in the past but it still didn’t work.

That’s why I wouldn’t have thought of trying it again.

@Anonymous,

Is it possible that not all open market Samsung S7 Edge devices work with VoLTE and WiFi calling?

Software is the latest Samsung was from yesterday and I still can’t manage it, even when it did

Both parameters (And VoLTE and WiFi Calling) are switched on correctly.

Kind regards.

@“x”#304148The problem mentioned above related to switching call forwarding on and off, not to making calls via VoLTE itself. Does that mean that it is now blocked while we wait for this update?
