I also have this problem. Recordings cannot be played back via the Blue TV app, TV Box or PC. The app says: Oops, something went wrong.

I’ve noticed this since January 2025. Since then, Swisscom customer service has tried everything. Reset TV box, reset Internet router, reset with paper clip. Latest TV box connected! Nothing helps. Frustration remains.

So this must have something to do with the synchronisation? Couldn’t Swisscom do an overall synchronisation or something? Because I can’t solve the problem from home.

Some films are playing again. But since today other films are no longer running. I was able to replace some films. But documentaries or films that rarely or never run are still broken today. Surely this problem must be solvable?

I’m slowly running on pins and needles as to which film will stop playing next.

      It’s not about the loaner items. They go.

      I recorded and archived the film “Never Grow Old” in July 2023. It’s no longer playable since yesterday. I can’t list every film here now.

      Conclusion: Films and documentaries that were still playing a few weeks ago (self-recorded films and documentaries) no longer work. When I press play, a fault message appears.

      By synchronising I mean that all recordings are on a cloud. Maybe it has something to do with that? There’s nothing more I can do on my end. TV box etc. are running perfectly and have been reset several times - as I explained.

        roku73 Yes, look it up. Because I’m not the only one. Talked to a Swisscom customer service advisor now and he said this is a known issue. And it has nothing to do with the TVBox.

          Prelude Hope the problem is fixed as soon as possible. Because the ability to archive programmes is a great feature from Swisscom. It seems that only older recordings from 2023 and further into the past are affected.

            Hello everyone,

            I tested several recordings archived between 2016 and 2021, as well as a few recordings archived in 2023, none of which caused playback problems.

            tests carried out on Swisscom blue TV Web, Edge/Win11, therefore it is difficult to say whether the problem encountered concerns the old recordings …

            here are some examples of these recordings, even if the presentation image is generic (man with gun or woman with hand) the film can be played back without any problem

              Black Mamba I noticed that with the older recordings, could of course be wrong. But obviously not every customer is affected by the problem.

              As mentioned, some customers are affected, but obviously not all.

              I hope Swisscom finds a solution to prevent more recordings from breaking.

              Prelude What does newer mean? For me it’s from 4.2022 - 7.2023 affected - so far. Hope there won’t be any more! I’ve only been a customer since 4.2022 - so these are my oldest records. They run from 2024.

                And I’ve never noticed this before. The oldest recordings are from March 2022.

                Occasionally, however, there have been times when a flash symbol was present on maybe 2-3 recordings.
                I’ve also seen the oops message, but only on live TV. And at the latest after switching off and restarting the app, it worked again.
