@Leyla - What to do? The press spoke extensively about the broadcast this Sunday evening, March 20, 2022, on RTS Deux, the story of the Montreux Festival and its founder, Claude Nobs. This broadcast will be done in three parts. Why not have continued to give the same title to the 3rd episode which is likely to be isolated in the list of recordings? In any case, it’s already like this if you do research in the programs (via the little house).

It’s Sunday and I think the people responsible for the EPG are not there… Will it be possible to make the correction after the fact so that the three episodes are together? This would be more logical and surely appreciated by people interested in this type of program… Thank you in advance.

@Leyla- I am speaking to you because you regularly answer our questions. Please refer to my comment (which was already a repeat) from March 13, 2022 (the exact time has disappeared again) which asked when we will have uninterrupted Arte programs again.

I know it’s not the only channel that has “holes”, but for Arte it seems that the problem started when you changed your program provider. As already pointed out, what is curious is that the programs in the German version are available without interruption…

Many magazines tell us about interesting programs for this channel, but for a few days each week it is impossible… although it would be so practical to be able to schedule the recording immediately…

P.S. At 8 p.m. Sunday, I just noticed that the display “error” repeated Monday evening during the rebroadcast of the series on RTS Deux.

@Leyla - Along the same lines, I would like to know what criteria those responsible use to display the year of broadcast for a current affairs program. Two examples:

Update - First broadcast in 1997, but broadcast in 2022!

TTC - First broadcast in 2007, but broadcast in 2022!

@Leyla - Here we go again. If today, Saturday, I can normally schedule the recordings that I would like to do on March 14 on RTS Un et Deux (which was “out of order” last week), it’s the desert again for Arte.

It’s been weeks since we had to wait for Wednesdays to be able to see the Arte Français programs… because the “programs are to be communicated” even though they are available on Arte Allemand!!!

Whose fault is it? The old or the new supplier? By the way, is the transition planned for the end of December 2021 complete? If yes, then, as already mentioned elsewhere, I have not yet seen any improvements, on the contrary!!!

P.S. Curious, but the time the message was sent is not displayed when you search for something in the list of numerous messages, but only later. Why not systematically set the time? This would be easier to immediately identify messages…

The corrections were made, but the programming I had made disappeared and suddenly I remembered that I wanted to watch the broadcasts of and about Margarethe von Trotta and I had to reprogram them …fortunately not too late because they were already in Replay.

It’s really not very practical. Should I in the future have a small notebook where I write down the information I have transmitted and regularly check whether after the correction “reschedule” the broadcasts?

On the other hand, I programmed in series the recording of the program “Ora Regelui” generally broadcast - but not regularly - on TVR International… Last Saturday, the program was not broadcast, but the recording was made when it was not on the program! This is the second time this mishap has happened and I don’t find it very serious. It’s really nonsense!

Thank you for “reporting” my remarks to those concerned!

P.S. It’s a “trifle”, but “Post” could advantageously be replaced by “Comment” or “Message” which are French words!!!!

@Leyla - This is a follow-up to my message from February 15 at 10:07 p.m.

I have just scheduled my recordings for Friday February 25 and in particular on Arte…

I would be grateful if you could ask the person responsible for the EPG to compare what is shown on TV and what is found on the Arte website.

There we find the details of the programs “Regards” and “Invitation au voyage” and there is no new program “Special”, a children’s program which suddenly seems to be recurring in the EPG for this channel (shown that day at 7 p.m. instead of “Wild Slovenia”)!

P.S. I really appreciate that now the date and time of recordings are systematically displayed in Community messages! A like to blue TV for following our suggestions!

@Leyla G - Following your message telling us that an improvement is in sight in the content of the information concerning the programs, I have just noticed that for “Top Models” broadcast by RTS Un, the summary really corresponds to what is currently being distributed and it is no longer a standard text which was completely outdated.

As for the list of performers, it has grown, but lo and behold, there are two different actors for the same role (Thomas Forrester) and actors who either died in the series (example: Caroline Spencer), or really deceased (example: Sally Spectra)… I also found characters who disappeared from the credits for a long time (example: Ivy Forrester). Does this mean she will return from her native Australia?!!

Conclusion: even with patience, “we are not out of the woods yet”!!!!

Note that Top Models is the only “soap opera” that I watch and therefore I cannot comment on the countless others… Besides, when we look at programs in general there are practically only series of very variable lengths and it will be very useful to know how many episodes they consist of.

@Leyla G - As promised I checked: The Soko Kitzbühel broadcast last night on RTS Deux at the end of the evening was indeed on two channels… The episodes that I mentioned to you were all broadcast there ’afternoon and were, as already mentioned, only in French.

@Leyla G - Thank you for all these explanations. If I understand correctly, I must accept this price with humor… especially since I have never “celebrated” Halloween which is a fairly recent American import.
