Here you can see that absolutely no one can give exact information about the delivery date. I know that so many are still waiting impatiently. But there is simply no right answer to this question. The devices will be delivered as soon as Apple itself has delivered the ordered quantities. A colleague of mine also ordered exactly this from Digitec, he hasn’t received it until today and he ordered it on September 15th!

Colleague ordered on September 15th and hasn’t received it yet. Just for information! But the question about delivery times is meaningless. Nobody can say that. All are just rough estimates. If you just look in the online shops, not a single one of the Pro/Pro Max has a delivery date, but not one! Most variants should only be available from stock from around January.
@blockbuster98 I also ordered it on 10/12/23. lol
@blockbuster98 Yes, I hope so too. The delivery time of 7-9 weeks is driving me crazy because I’m traveling to New York on November 4th and the iPhone 15 pro Max would be nice for the trip for the pictures/videos etc.
Yes, I also ordered from Swisscom

@blockbuster98 - No problem, I was also interested because I received this information from those around me last week.
No, it actually happens by chance, but they usually get the deliveries Tuesday through Friday just for the walk-in customers at the Apple store during lunchtime.
Unfortunately, I don’t know about the providers. I’m assuming it’s a different supplier/distributor than Apple.
My colleague, who works in retail, said that the providers and online shops receive their goods from the major supplier “ALSO”. Only insiders know whether this is actually the case or whether, for example, they also shop at Apple at the same time.
Unfortunately, no one can give you exact delivery information. Experience has shown that when the new iPhones come onto the market, the quickest way is to order them directly from Apple. With providers, online shops and other retailers you usually have to wait much longer. With emphasis on usually, but not always. I don’t think you’ll still have to wait up to 9 weeks with Swisscom if you order now. This information is always only a rough estimate and the goods usually arrive earlier.

Hello @blockbuster98
General explanation:
Fiber optics are often built in collaborations.
St. Gallen = SKA
Zurich = City of Works
Etc
A fiberglass can has up to 4 fibers in it.
1) Fiber goes to the cooperation partner
2) Fiber goes to Swisscom
Depending on the expansion contract, the builder may use the fiber first before opening it to others.
This is probably what it will look like for you.
The 2 fibers are never the same length, one center is at point x and the other at point y
They really went full throttle on your street with the blue ones, but the glass isn’t quite finished on the other side.
I would be happy if the date according to Checker is known.
Greetings Lorenz

I can’t tell you that either, here in the area where we live (Baden and the surrounding area) we all already have a direct fiber optic line from an installation company and everyone was told which provider they could connect to and Swisscom isn’t there.

Hello @blockbuster98 @kaetho
I’m not a specialist when it comes to legal details.
But as far as I know, the HD-TV-Box is clearly the property of Swisscom according to the contract (commercial loan).
The UHD TV-Box is then the property of each customer again, as it has also been paid for by the customer.
I can’t tell you why these HD TV boxes appear on Ricardo, for example, and this has no consequences for the actual SCTV customers that the STB originally had.
I’m guessing that the effort and return are not correct or these boxes are not tracked 100%.
I don’t know these details myself.
But if you @blockbuster98 want to be on the safe side, then you are not allowed to sell the HD box but can keep it with you or give it back to Swisscom.
Greetings
Hello @blockbuster98
You can use a Swisscom UHD STB purchased from Ricardo at home without any problems if it TV-Box has no defect 😉 which could be the case.
The only thing that doesn’t work is that you can then run both of your SCTV boxes at the same time.
Each one runs individually on your Anschluss. But not both at the same time.
If you want both TV boxes to work at the same time on Anschluss, then you have to contact the Swisscom hotline so that they can increase your Anschluss (TV-Box counter). However, this still has a cost impact if you want to operate additional TV boxes on your Anschluss.
But replacing your HD TV-Box with a UHD TV-Box is possible.
Greetings

Hello, what if I buy a UHD box at Ricardo and connect it to myself?
Does it work properly after a reset, or does Swisscom have to “unlock” it?
Ps.: The box still costs 120CHF, which I find completely overpriced for a long-time customer!
Thank you until then 🙂
you can install without anything.
should even work without a reset
Hello @blockbuster98
If you already have such a great new RC, then I would just buy the UHD TV-Box von Swisscom.
Because this brings with it some advantages that you will never get again with the HD (IP1200) TV-Box.
And the UHD STB is a lot quicker to use than the “old” TV-Box.
