Hello Gloidson

Have you considered an alternative to the remote control?

You can control a lot of things with apps on a mobile device. E.g. on a cell phone. I can also set the cell phone (Android) so that when I am at home (GPS) the security lock does not activate automatically after 1 minute.

Secondly, many people (including older students like me šŸ˜‰ ) have a tablet lying around at home. This not only serves as a ā€œsecond screenā€ to the TV, but also controls various other things in the household. Including static lists about supplies and a shopping list, which is synchronized with my cell phone via the cloud.

Last but not least, this approach eliminates the problems with IR and Bluetooth. It should also be mentioned specifically about Bluetooth that there is a question mark regarding security

Hello Pedrino

I would be interested in a USB IR dongle. I have a Swisscom HD box (not the UHD) but the predecessor.

How can I understand that I should contact you via PM with my name and address?

Kind regards

Hello @Vusteirio16

Which M-Budget TV-Box and which M-Budget RC do you have?

If Iā€™m not mistaken, then the M-Budget TV boxes are not 100% the same as SwisscomTV.

And actually you could teach the IR commands of the M-Budget RC directly to your Logitech or other universal remote, because I am of the opinion that M-Budget does not use Bluetooth Low energy (BLE) RCā€™s but still uses IR RCā€™s.

Therefore, this USB adapter would not be necessary for you, as the M-Budget would also have to have an IR receiver šŸ˜‰
Information without guarantee, as I do not know all M-Budget TV boxes in detailā€¦

Greetings

On the back it says IP1200ā€¦.remote control is blackā€¦I assume itā€™s Bluetooth because I canā€™t learn any commandsā€¦no ones are received from the HArmony Hubā€¦

Show original language (German)

M-Budget Support (miserable as always) didnā€™t even know what a HArmony remote control wasā€¦You mean they have a special configuration and it probably doesnā€™t work because you canā€™t configure anythingā€¦but it doesnā€™t need any configuration, you just have to plug it in, right? Swisscom support says Iā€™m not a Swisscom customer and therefore no support and no dongle deliveryā€¦ What you donā€™t have to do to have one less remote controlā€¦

The M-Budget TV boxes that I have seen so far all work with IR remote controls, so the IR receiver is built in and an external IR receiver is no longer necessaryā€¦.

Are you sure your TV box doesnā€™t have an IR built-in?
