Good morning, I wanted to ask if anyone knows whether it is possible to retrieve an email that has already been sent as it works with Outlook, for example. Is this possible? Thank you Franco

  • I checked the link and saw that their program was the one I had installed and used to immediately check for malware but found nothing.

    Any other ideas?
    Thanks F.

  • Mail account blocked by Swisscom

  • Hello, a few days ago all emails in my account were blocked by Swisscom, and the explanation was:

“The account XXX@bluewin.ch was used by third parties to send spam via SMTPAuth.”

When I called support they told me that I probably have a virus or malware that needs to be deleted.
I checked with the antivirus (Avast) and antimalware (Malware) already installed without finding anything. When I thought that my free programs were not efficient enough, I subscribed to the “Swisscom Internet Security” service that was recommended to me. I used their programs to scan all the Macs and PCs in my house and found nothing.

Where does the problem come from? If no trojan malware viruses etc. were found, how did they manage to use my email to send spam?

    Thanks for the help S

      Gruss

      Chris

  • Hi Supermario45,

I tried with the home computer connected to a LAN, but it still always asks for the SMS code with a message that is always the same and I don’t know if it really makes sense.

Thanks anyway for trying and if I find out anything I’ll update the forum.

    Hi Supermario45,

thanks for the reply. To show you better I’ll send you two images. The top-ups I was telling you about are marked with the red arrow, while if I select the blue “Top-up” at the bottom then it always asks me for a confirmation SMS.

Do you have an idea? Thanks Summi

  • Hi Supermario45

Thanks for your reply and sorry if I didn’t answer you immediately, but I was away for work.

Your advice was invaluable and I was able to upload and edit packages with the hotline. In the meantime I was in the house in the mountains and was able to add the Hotspot card number in my customer area. It was easy because when you are connected to Wifi you can log into the Hotspot (192.168.8.1) and see the SMS it receives.

However, even though I now have the Hotspot in the customer area, when from home (from afar) I try to charge or do anything else, it asks me again for a confirmation SMS with this strange message:

"It was not possible to autenticare your collegamento.

You are currently connected with Wi-Fi. For this reason, identification via SMS is required. For direct access to the Cockpit, please deactivate your WLAN and reopen the Swisscom Cockpit via the mobile data network. Access to the Cockpit is free worldwide.

To reach the Cockpit, enter the telephone number of your connection. You will then receive a password via SMS."

I’m still at square one. I can’t modify data packets from afar.

Do you have another idea? Thanks again Summi

  • Top up with My Swisscom does not work

  • I use the My Swiscom app with an iPhone and if I select another Natel with an Easy Smart card I get the overview and consumption correctly, while if I select “Recharge” I have a little circle that keeps turning and nothing ever appears.

Does it happen to everyone? Do you know why?

    Thanks so much Summi

      Hi Supermario45,

this morning I saw that there is an update to My Swisscom and now it works.

      Happy Sunday Summi

  • Connection to Huawei Hotspot E5330 3G

I left my Hotspot with a Natel easy card in a mountain house to have internet even when I’m not there and I would still like to be able to top up the account and be able to manage the type of data billing such as 2 Fr for internet for 24 hours or 9 Fr for 200 MB in one month. By calling Swisscom several times they told me that by adding the natel number to my customer area I could manage this data. In reality, even starting from my customer area I am always asked for the confirmation SMS which however I cannot use as the Hotspot is 100 KM away in the house in the mountains.

Does anyone have an idea how I can do this???

    Thanks so much Summi

    Thanks again Franco

  • Delete all emails at once

  • In webmail, my incoming mail is full, with more than 18,000 emails. How can I delete them all at once (and not 100 per100)?

    Thank you Franco

Da geht am einfachsten, wenn du per IMAP mit einem Mailprogramm darauf zugreifst.

Dannach musst du auch den Papierkorb leeren.

  • Empty your inbox with one click

  • Hello everyone,

my mailbox is full and contains more than 18,000 emails that I would like to delete all together as is already possible with the Spam folder. If I can only delete 100 emails
at a time it would take me hours to delete all the emails.

Do you have an idea how to solve the problem? I also thought about deleting the account and recreating it but it takes 30 days for it to be deleted.

    Any other ideas???

    Thanks for your help Franco

    • Ciao Summi

Purtroppo non ho trovato nulla nella impostazioni… Comunque penso che l’unica possibilità sia:

      1.png

      Selezionare tutto

      2..png

      e dopo scegliere “Elimina”.

Potresti anche provare ad’ impostare il tuo indirizzo e-mail in un programma tipo Outlook utilizzando le impostazioni POP e forse potrai riuscire a cancellarle in un’altra maniera con un programma.

      Saluti

  • Large center and WDS

  • Dear experts, I have Swisscom TV which is a certain distance from the telephone socket and I don’t want too many wires around the house. I therefore try to extend the internet by connecting an “Airport express” which has a LAN port to the “Centro grande” router via wireless.

To extend the network I still have to configure the router with a WDS (wireless distribution system) which however I can’t find anywhere. I looked under the router settings and found nothing. I also looked for a more detailed manual than the one provided by Swisscom under the Motorola page, without finding our model. I also called customer service, but again without success.

Is there anyone who can give me a hand? Thank you so much Summi
