You must enter the router interface, in the WLAN settings, and deactivate the ‘n’ standard by selecting only ‘802.11 g/b’ and set a Wifi channel (3, 9 or 11).

Are you on ADSL or VDSL?

If you are in VDSL, it is normal that it detects a DHCP connection. Otherwise, ADSL is definitely PPPoE.

If you try to connect your router behind the Swisscom modem, connect it via Ethernet, and use the DHCP server of the Swisscom modem to assign your IP addresses.
