Hello everyone,
I tested several recordings archived between 2016 and 2021, as well as a few recordings archived in 2023, none of which caused playback problems.
tests carried out on Swisscom blue TV Web, Edge/Win11, therefore it is difficult to say whether the problem encountered concerns the old recordings …
here are some examples of these recordings, even if the presentation image is generic (man with gun or woman with hand) the film can be played back without any problem
Prelude @Orion1909 @Black Mamba you have to compare the streaming servers of Swisscom, if they are different the case is clear.
Under Zahrad / System/ Detail Platform:
Black Mamba I noticed that with the older recordings, could of course be wrong. But obviously not every customer is affected by the problem.
As mentioned, some customers are affected, but obviously not all.
I hope Swisscom finds a solution to prevent more recordings from breaking.

@Prelude @Orion1909 which Swisscom streaming servers do you have?
I have services.sg108.prd.sctv.ch
And I’ve never noticed this before. The oldest recordings are from March 2022.
Occasionally, however, there have been times when a flash symbol was present on maybe 2-3 recordings.
I’ve also seen the oops message, but only on live TV. And at the latest after switching off and restarting the app, it worked again.
Cordialement, Prelude
Prelude thanks now we have to wait for @Orion1909.
Black Mamba services.sg103.prd.sctv.ch
Orion1909 @Black Mamba @Stephan_76 @Prelude
So let me summarise:
Prelude: services.sg109.prd.sctv.ch (sometimes had problems)
Black Mamba: services.sg109.prd.sctv.ch (never had problems)
Stephan_76: services.sg108.prd.sctv.ch (never any problems)
Orion1909: services.sg103.prd sctv.ch (has problems)
So I don’t think it’s the server because @Prelude has the same server as @Black Mamba and Black Mamba has no problems playing the archive.
Now it would be interesting to know from @Orion1909 if the same problem occurs in his neighbourhood with the same
server ( services.sg103.prd sctv.ch) then it would clearly be a server problem.
user109 My neighbour has no problems.
I don’t know otherwise if I could ask in the neighbourhood. My colleagues don’t have Swisscom TV.
The only thing I know is that several customers have solved a ticket with this problem. (According to Swisscom customer service).
I recently spoke to someone from the third level on the phone. He told me that the problem is known and they are working on it. But the source of the problem is not (yet) known.
I don’t think it’s due to the new Android system either, because then the problem would affect everyone.
It’s a mystery to me.
