@Albatros2 the HN8255W only has WIFI 5. The WLAN performance is better than the IB3. The router is interesting because of 10Gbit/s Ethernet Anschluss. What kind of settings do you mean?

No, it works via the WEB-Gui too, it wasn’t clear from the manual I have.
The configuration of the ONT works via OLT, ACS and Web-Gui.
Such a configuration via the WEB-Gui makes no sense for ISPs.
You just have to have the administrator user/password for the ONT, otherwise it won’t work.
It doesn’t work with the standard user/password that is on the product label.
However, I will not publish the administrator user/password here, as it is not entirely trivial.

So that for users who have no idea about the matter, the router does not become a security risk or if it fails,

Have you somehow gotten the ZyXEL router to work, my current status is:
ZyXEL AX7501-B0 “FW version: V5.15(ABPC.0)C0”
With the following settings a connection is established, an IPv4 address (100.95.79.xx) is obtained and the registration page can be opened:
Encapsulation: IPoE
DHCP option 60: 100008,0001
VLAN 802.1q: 10
MTU: 1492
Unfortunately, I can’t get an internet connection (not even ping 8.8.8.8 directly from the router).
If you create an IPoE (DHCP) connection, but fixed IPs are switched on your Anschluss (which you can obtain via PPPoE VLAN ID11), you have no Internet connectivity via the DHCP connection, but only a connection to the service network and could, for example Use Swisscom TV.
So what you’re describing makes sense. Not that you’re comparing apples with oranges.

(Thanks Tux0ne! Thanks to your linked document I came across this - the old one is still entered in my old Swisscom documents…) - Of course, the settings can be adjusted as needed (PPPoE passthrough, etc.) but I recommend starting with this setting and building from there.
- I have the impression that what was important, among other things, was the process (first only register IPoE, router and only then PPPoE) and a little patience… but I could also be wrong.

Settings & Services -> Internet -> Internet access data there under “PPPoE access data”
We have a business internet Anschluss, I can’t provide any information about private connections.
From what I’ve read, only IPoE with DHCP is used there (no more PPPoE).
P.S.
I also had internet access with “IPoE only”, but only after several attempts. On my first attempt I (also?) had the phenomenon of being connected but not having internet access (see post above).
