Hello @ColossusCH2
Swisscom has an adapter cable specifically for this in the shop. Take a look => [here](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/produkte/tv/details.html/y-kabel-tv-box-5-11060195?stch=plp&ing=ptl-device- first&simplyDigital=true&journey=device-first&payOption=ONE_TIME&useCase=HARDWAREONLY)
However, if your dongle does not have a USB Anschluss, you would also have to buy a new dongle.

At least in previous versions of the Logitech definitions it was possible to specify a name “IP nnnn” for the Swisscom TV-Box (name without the addition of “Swisscom”!). This specified a generic set-top box (no Swisscom TV-Box!). With these specifications, the Logitech remote control sent infrared commands in a different command format. The predecessor boxes (before TV-Box 5) also recognized these different infrared commands, which were apparently used by the hardware supplier for tests.
Before Logitech had implemented the automatic recognition of the existing components, users had to define the Swisscom TV boxes as “Swisscom-TV 2.0” in the Logitech definitions, see also above in the >article 7.
Only this specification ensured that the Logitech remote control sent infrared commands to the Swisscom box in the intended command format and with the correct timing. As mentioned above: The same infrared codes apply to all Swisscom boxes.
Logitech has now implemented automatic recognition of existing components for the device settings. Logitech can probably determine the type of Swisscom TV-Box via the Ethernet connection and as
**Swisscom DVR (Swisscom IP-nnnn)
**recognize.
As an optimist, I previously assumed that Logitech had stored the correct set of infrared commands for all variants of the Swisscom TV-Box (same command set as for the box name “Swisscom-TV 2.0”). See also this article.](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Nutzung-mit-TV-Box/Infrarot-Bluetooth-Wandler-f%C3%BCr-TV-Box-IP1400/m-p/747312#M63022 )
@graypat Based on your information, I now assume that Logitech has stored the generic infrared commands at least for the Swisscom Box IP2000. It’s just bad luck that the new TV-Box 5 probably doesn’t recognize the generic commands. With the definition suggested above by kaetho you can probably solve your problem.
Logitech should be motivated to store the correct set of infrared commands for all variants of the Swisscom TV-Box (also for the new TV-Box 5).

… with a system that is effectively dead? )Or are there any signs from Logitech that the Harmony system will be revived?)
Swisscom will hardly do that. They are clearly relying on Bluetooth…
If you use the USB-IR Dongle ([USB IR Dongle Kit – TV-Box & Accessories | Swisscom]. )) then this will work with all of them TV boxes!
Regardless of whether you use the TV 2.0 or IP1400 IR codes from Logitech, it should work. If users have created profiles themselves, Logitech has also made them visible and these may be incorrect. But everything that worked with IP1400, IP1800 and IP2000 also works with the TV-Box 5 and the USB-IR dongle.
For the TV-Box 5, the Y-cable ([Y-cable for Swisscom TV-Box 5 – TV-Box & accessories | Swisscom](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/produkte/tv/details.html/y-kabel-tv-box-5-11060195?stch=plp&ing=ptl-device-first&simplyDigital=true&journey=device -first&payOption=ONE_TIME&useCase=HARDWAREONLY)) is required so that the USB-IR can be used.
You can also find the IR codes here [ir-universal-fernbedienungd.pdf (swisscom.ch)](https://www.swisscom.ch/content/dam/assets/b2c/products/fixnet/help/pdf /ir-universal-fernbedienungd.pdf)
That there:

This also works, I’ve been using the TV-Box 5 and the USB-IR eye with Harmony since last October.
