New remote control
Hello everyone
I heard from Pilot User that a new remote control with additional IR is being tested. This allows you to switch the TV on and off via the Swisscom TV 2.0 remote control without a USB adapter or additional TV FB.
Is there already a date for the start of sales?
Greetings
I have an apartment of about 100 square meters and the 3 TV2.0 are in different rooms but all on the same floor.
The IB including the first WiFi kit is also in the same apartment. Put another way:
1. Room: InternetBox with 1st WiFi kit
2. Room: 2. WiFi kit with SCTV
3. Rooms: 3. WiFi kit with SCTV
4. Rooms: 4. WiFi kit with SCTV
Swisscom Mobile Bonus
Hello everyone,
At Swisscom you can sell not completely outdated cell phones (http://mobile-bonus.swisscom.ch/de),,) the so-called Mobile Bonus.
Is it possible to buy these as private individuals?
Or are these devices only sold to organizations?
Today the technician came, looked at the error, called the headquarters and informed us that the error was known and was being processed.
Why don’t the technicians clarify the problem beforehand instead of driving around Switzerland?:smileyfrustrated:
I had already reported it to the hotline that it was a known error and I actually just wanted an appointment/status. But the hotline really wanted to send a technician over because otherwise the error wouldn’t be processed:smileymad:
Hello Giuseppe
I reported the error to the hotline and after 2 weeks they will send a technician to my home.
I thought that the error was recognized by you and is being processed.
Swisscom wants to offer a good service, but I can’t understand the processes.
It is a reproducible error (not just for me, but for everyone who has the new SCTV), but the hotline definitely wants to send a technician to me otherwise the reported error will not be processed.
I now have to go to work 2 hours later so that the technician can meet me.
What does the technician actually want to do to me? He could also reproduce the error himself (1. create your own channel list: 2. jump back for 10 seconds; 3. jump forward for 30 seconds; 4. print program + or - and find out that the wrong channel is changed).
I disconnected the 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi and tried to connect to the SCTV on both WiFi, unfortunately without success. The distance is less than 10 meters with two thin walls in between. But it works fine using the DUO connection kit (WLAN 5 GHz). On the Swisscom hotline you get the answer that there are still problems and the direct WLAN connection between IB and SCTV has not yet been released (date unknown).
It’s a shame, I wanted to install 2 more SCTVs in my room (children’s room) but I definitely don’t feel like purchasing LAN cables or additional infrastructure.
I can understand that there can be problems, but I find it sad that there has been no remedy for this error since the market launch and no date for when it will be fixed.
SCTV 2.0 via WLAN to the IB
Hello everyone
I currently have an SCTV 2.0 connected to the IB with a wireless DUO connection kit via WLAN and it’s working well so far.
I want to eliminate the connection kit and connect the SCTV to IB directly via WiFi.
I tried to create the connection directly, but the SCTV can’t find the IB via WLAN (WPS) and I can’t get any support from the Swisscom hotline because this feature hasn’t been officially released yet.
Does anyone know when the WLAN connection between IB and SCTV will be officially released by Swisscom?
- In SIP ALG
Hello everyone
After calling the hotline, I was recommended to give the IB’s 2 WLANs (2.4 and 5 GHz) different SSIDs, because otherwise the devices would jump from one frequency to the other and that could lead to instability of the connection.
After I made this change, I no longer notice any interruptions.
Problem solved thanks to the good support of the Swisscom hotline
Bye
Sergio

SIP ALG
Hello everyone
I have an IB and I use the iPhone app from Peoplefone over WLAN (calling via SIP).
Unfortunately, since I’ve had the IB, the conversations I have on Peoplefone are always interrupted.
After an inquiry with Peoplefone support, I found out that the SIP ALG had to be deactivated on the Swisscom router.
In the GUI of the IB I can’t find any security or firewall menu where you could activate/deactivate the SIP ALG function.
Do you know where you can configure the SIP ALG parameter in the Swisscom IB?
Greetings
Sergio
Program + jumps to wrong channel
Hello everyone
I have SCTV 2.0 and have discovered an error wherever it can be reproduced.
I created and activated my own channel list.
Now I jump to a live broadcast for 10 seconds. back and then 30 seconds. forward until the message “Live” is displayed. When I press the Program + button on the remote control, it jumps to a wrong channel.
This error can also be reproduced by rewinding, then forward again to the live broadcast and now changing the channel with Program +.
Can you reproduce this error for yourself too?
- In New firmware
- In New firmware
Hello everyone
The update worked great for me (05.00.22/05.00.32) and I didn’t notice any problems during the speed test.
Unfortunately after the update, the connected LAN/WLAN devices are no longer displayed for me (see picture)
Does anyone have a tip?
With the old FW I couldn’t connect the TV 2.0 to the Internet box via WLAN and had to use a WLAN connection kit. The problem is known to SC and has the ID 5A8D.
Has this problem been solved with the new FW (the release notes say “stability improvements in the 5 GHz WLAN”)?
