@falonef what would be worse than an incorrect/unusable EPG?

With Samsung TVs, the EPG can be switched to another provider if you are not happy with yours. This is not possible with Swisscom.

And as is usually the case with such things, communication is part of the reason why it is so tragic. As with the deterioration in the recorder function, something is glorified as an improvement.

So far, as far as I know, no point has been mentioned where something has improved in the EPG.

This EPG supplier is located in some Eastern European basement

So I feel more like crying.

I’m starting to doubt that Swisscom is interested in improving the data. I think the new provider is massively cheaper. If I’m still wrong, it would be up to Swisscom to clear the supplier’s head.

Does anyone happen to know whether this is the case with Salt or others?

It’s possible that there are problems, but with such massive problems we should actually expect a statement from the head of the Blue Entertainment department. It was briefly introduced at the rebranding show last year.

I was looking for the game in the hotel where I am at the moment.

Since it only shows a few channels at a time, I assume that this is the information that the channel provides.

I can only confirm what has already been mentioned:

    - Detailed information about the actors - e.g. from Wikipedia - which were previously available, are missing
    - Dates of birth of the actors are missing
    - For series such as Crime scene episode number has been missing for some time.
    - etc.

Dear Swisscom, this is another step backwards, as in many other areas☹️ I can’t really say anything more about it.

    @ThomasS

October 10, 2021, 3:40 p.m., “Adèle and the Pharaoh’s Secret”: The film information is misleading. The hatched prehistoric creature mentioned only has a minor role. It’s more about mummies that come to life. But not in the horror sense. It’s an action comedy.

But Swisscom can’t do anything about this false information. You may be able to forward this to the EPG provider. Or is this information provided by the broadcaster?

    I already wrote recently that…:

    - Detailed information about the actors - e.g. from Wikipedia - which were previously available, are missing
    - Dates of birth of the actors are missing
    - In some series such as Crime Scene has been episode number for some time now. missing

As I have now discovered, I have series recordings that no longer run (example Continuum on SciFy); the 2nd season or I had to re-record the entire series separately because the existing series recording no longer shows any continuation… That’s just annoying.

A lot of (negative) things have already been written here. But there are no statements from Swisscom about this. Really weak☹️
