the values haven’t changed in ages. They were the same when I was still using the IB+ and that was a while ago.
Yes, I’m aware of the switch-off thing.
Could you initiate the measuring process? It’s possible that I’ll get a better sync then. It’s not really fun with these values.

Have you ever contacted support and asked about the big difference?
I can’t do anything about your Anschluss myself because I’m a customer like you.
It is important to mention that the problem already existed with the IB+ and now also with the IB2.
So in my opinion it can’t be the Internet box.

I haven’t contacted support yet. I will make.
Thank you for the help.

At best, @Anonymous knows more about the FW here.

VPN definitely no longer works as of today. Yesterday I still had the old FW (delivery version).
But now I found out why. My xy internet-box.ch dyndns address no longer points to my current IP address! How come?
I have been using the IB2 since yesterday evening. Commissioning went smoothly.
The Gigast SL450HX Dect handset was also easy to pair. IP landline telephony worked without any problems right from the start.
I have a Vivo L subscription, which currently has 1 Gbit/s speed as a promotion (instead of 300 Mbit/s normally).
With all iOS devices (iPhone 7, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4) I get an average download speed of around 350 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz WiFi throughout the entire apartment (around 120 square meters, one floor, IB 2 placed centrally in the living room on a lowboard).
I am particularly happy with the WiFi performance. Since I only access the Internet via WiFi, I will now be able to fully utilize the normal 300 Vivo L Mbit/s via WiFi. Higher download rates via WiFi are unlikely to be realistic anyway…

Short feedback.
I contacted support. However, I can’t do anything about the speed. And there are no plans to expand the network in the near future.:smileysad:

Hello
As of today I also have an IB2. The installation went relatively smoothly with restoring the configuration of the old IB+, except:
- The two HD phones had to be re-registered
- I also had to log in again with the iOS Internetbox app
- The LAN diagnosis is not running smoothly, i.e. the Anschluss 2 only shows “No device connected”, but the entire house network is hanging there (behind a DLINK switch). The IB+ also showed this error
I can’t say anything about the improved WiFi at the moment. I’m excited and will let you know if I have any problems
Greetings

We’re having a few issues with activations at the moment. Do all the lamps on the IB2 light up white?
Activation didn’t work properly on my virgin Reserve IB2.
The LED flashed red/white and the WLAN remained deactivated. I was able to activate the latter, but I couldn’t connect to it without a password and a WPS-capable device.
The only remedy was manual activation via LAN, via a separate access point.
Where do I get the standard WiFi passwords for my Internet boxes?

For me, the WLAN settings were loaded directly from the web portal onto the IB2, as it says in the installation instructions.
That just didn’t work in this case.
@Anonymous Please do a “reset” of your IB2. It seems as if the pairing on your box did not go through correctly. This is probably still related to the problem from this week. It is there when activating new connections / or new boxes problems arose.
Workaround: Reset the box, or enter the data manually into the router via LAN cable. Basically, the router should retrieve the correct data after the reset.

I did a reset, but without success.
I first had to register again, which was only possible via LAN due to the lack of a WiFi password.
Only then did the brand new IB2 pull the configuration from the Kundencenter.
How do customers who don’t have a LAN device do this?
P.S. The automatic registration previously worked successfully with another IB2.
@Anonymous It was probably precisely at this time that the problem existed throughout Switzerland. Normally this works without any problems. Independent of the IB box.
This week there were numerous problems with all IB boxes where the registration and the initial connection/registration did not work properly.
If there is no LAN-Anschluss, the pairing can also be done by the technical department. Then registration is not necessary. The customer then has to contact us by phone - which is what they usually do.

Ok, good to know. I had the problem today (11/18/2016) at around 4:00 p.m.
