@akai We will start marketing in January. Until then, we will connect more and more cell phones. And further cell phone cells will be activated over the course of the year.
- Installation of a fail-over function, i.e. it would be great if the LTE part did not switch off at the same time if the copper line failed, but rather maintained the connection. If IP telephony were also released for the LTE part, this could further improve the telephone accessibility of the connection
Technically no problem. We are considering providing a time-limited failover feature. Could come at some point.
- Upload boost improvement. In the test I never got over 2 MBit
This requires a few adjustments to our mobile network. In addition, uploading is technically more difficult. So I don’t know yet when we can do something about it.
- Inclusion of TV and telephone in the bonding channel
Telephone should even work (although I’m not entirely sure). Definitely not TV. That would kill the mobile network.
- Adjust the speed test of the IB2 so that the values are displayed correctly including bonding performance
That’s basically how it should be. But it is an area that still needs to be improved. There are still a few hurdles there.
- Display of the connection-specific boost power approved by Swisscom in the router menu so that the customer can see where the expected target power of his connection including bonding is
This is more of an offer issue. Even today you won’t find the maximum permitted speed of your tariff in the router menu.
The beta firmware 08.01.06 is available for IB2. Likewise for the IB+ and IBS.

WOMOBLOG.CH - tips about motorhomes
@gur_helios Michel has made 3 new posts about this here in the router section. Please provide feedback there. Then it’s easier for Michel. And I highly recommend the updates.
@Busstop
What does “again” mean here?
The IB2 is one of the best routers!
For this device the 199.- is still justifiable.
If that’s too much for you, you can stay with your box.
Other providers sometimes charge much more.
Sometimes I really have the feeling that some people here don’t even see what kind of work this device needed.
In the instructions for setting up the VPN clients, it says that Windows is not supported for IB+.
There are instructions for Windows under IB2, although the screenshots still show Windows 7, not 10.
Does VPN on Windows actually require IB2?
(My Win 10 laptop cannot create a VPN connection with my IB+).

Does IB2 really need to be used for VPN on Windows?
(My Win 10 laptop cannot create a VPN connection with my IB+).
Maybe this will help you… [http://supportcommunity.swisscom.ch/t5/Discussions-over-devices-and/Tutorial-VPN-via-Windows-10-und-Zugriff-auf-den-Zentralen/m-p/413518#M4768] (http://supportcommunity.swisscom.ch/t5/Diskussionen-über- Geräte-und/Tutorial-VPN-via-Windows-10-und-Zugriff-auf-den-Zentralen/m-p/413518#M4768)

VPN is not officially supported by Windows for IB+.
But with a registry “hack” it should work:
https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/kb/926179
(It already worked once for me with Win7)
With IB2 it officially works and the above hack is no longer necessary
….keep on rockin' 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
@Baggster and @POGO 1104
Thanks, the registry entry did the trick. But there are still a few network issues: I can’t access my NAS in the file explorer. My printer, however, works perfectly. Is this another bug in the firmware?

Here is my unfortunately not so positive feedback about the switch from IB+ fiber optic to IB2.
1. Swisscom supplied me with the IB2 with DSL copper cable, so I installed the Fiber SFP module from the IB+ on the IB2.
2. Starting up the IB2, flashes red/white. Attempted registration (again?), according to the answer everything should be OK, but services are not running and IB2 is still flashing red/white.
3. Reset the IB2 and tried again with the same result.
4. Power off/on, same result
5. Call hotline - he does some kind of action and in the end the internet, landline analogue and WLAN are running
6. Restore my saved configuration of the IB+
7. Landline phones (2 HD Phones) checked, but they are missing from the configuration and need to be re-paired.
8. HD Phone Zermatt cannot be paired with all tricks (firmware vH023, HD Phone Montreux without problems) - reset to factory settings, restarted IB2, etc.
9. Call the hotline again - tried again a few times but without success - ticket sent to the technician who hasn’t responded yet.
10. Out of sheer desperation, I tried again, reset the phone to factory settings and then removed the batteries and oh wonder, now the pairing works.
Now everything is working as expected, the WiFi range is a lot better, so the considerable effort was worth it.
