The same problem for me and, as can be seen from other threats, for hours also for many others.

Swisscom seems to have screwed up something again - and doesn’t think it’s necessary to inform its customers about it with a short statement. This could at least prevent you from getting very annoyed and starting to tinker with your computer configuration without any results.

I also pay for TV air for expensive money with Vivo M, so it’s doubly annoying when the connection is cut off for hours (hopefully not for days).

After TV-air has been working only hesitantly and with repeated interruptions in the past few days and weeks (at least on Mac/Safari), I’m seriously starting to ask myself whether I’m in the right place with this provider.

On MAC it doesn’t work with Safari or Chrome for me.

Let’s see how long it takes until stable service is available again.

Doesn’t work for me + I only turned on the PC a few minutes ago.

I agree with various authors and am still of the opinion that it can’t all be just a coincidence that this has all happened since the new version: I didn’t have any problems for years before that!!!

That’s why I wrote here a short time ago that you shouldn’t do the tests in “production” + it just said: it’s no longer a test, they’ve already done it with BETA!

Sounds good but the part just causes problems, especially when you compare it with its predecessor…

Even nonsense like: user settings are stored in the keck.

Sure, why do I have to log in beforehand and my user settings are loaded and THEN the information comes: please accept the conditions.

Sorry, since switching to this version it doesn’t have much to do with the service we were used to, so the long-standing bonus points like “good service, good support, runs without major interruptions” are slowly but surely disappearing…

Edit:

It seemed to work on Chrome, but now hangs with the message “Waiting for GaiaAuthExtension extension”.

Edit2:

Now SC noticed it and set the error message back to “current”. The report at 4:40 p.m. was probably a lucky hit…

Btw. Have you ever counted the many entries about TV AIR since the new version? There are quite a few who are affected and since it has been like this for almost 3 weeks, it doesn’t make a good impression of the provider.

I was just sent the following message via SMS.

“The cause of the disruption has been localized. The solution has already been initiated. All systems are under observation. We apologize for the inconvenience. Swisscom”

It’s been running on the Mac with Opera since around 4 p.m.

Unfortunately not yet on the PC Win 8.1 with Firefox/Chrome.

Swisscom writes a temporary solution under disruption:

    Description

Swisscom TV Air was affected for some customers. In the meantime, our specialists were able to implement a temporary solution, thanks to which Swisscom TV Air works with the usual quality. The cause of the disorder is localized. The fix has already been initiated. All systems are under observation.

    Hello WalterB

    Provisional means resetting to the last known stable state;

and troubleshooting the new version, or am I wrong?

    Greetings mazel

    Hello cheeseie

    I don’t understand what you’re saying, it’s loading… but then there should be a picture…

For me it doesn’t ring under Edge, it just says, the channel is being loaded and nothing happens…

But under Firefox and Chrome it runs great as before, fast and great image quality.

    Greetings mazel

    On PC and Win 10

This means that TV Air does not work under Windows 10 with Chrome, nor with Edge. I don’t want to try other exotic browsers.

I always get the message “Station is loading”. Advertising works.

Ok, thanks for the info. I think there are still a few screws that need to be screwed in.

So Firefox isn’t that exotic, but it probably doesn’t solve your problem either. Maybe I’m just lucky,

    that it works for me.

But I also have the normal TV version via box with a large screen, so it’s marginal for me whether it runs on the PC or not.

Good luck and patience, greetings mazel:smileywink:

There seem to be differences, because Firefox works for me (at least a few minutes, sometimes a few hours, I have no idea why). Chrome doesn’t work at all. I rather believe that the “experts” are groping in the dark and using trial and error to see what works and what doesn’t.

I’m watching Wilmaa now and if Swisscom keeps messing around for a long time, I’ll soon be away from them. What are you actually paying for? The old solution wasn’t that great, but as long as Firefox didn’t kill the plugin container, the whole thing worked.
