Ordered IB2 yesterday at noon… already delivered at noon today.:smileylol:
Setup took just under an hour, with all cables and external hard drive reconnected. Previously saved the configuration of the IB Standard locally on my Mac, after the installation the IB2 was restored with the file.
- LAN and WLAN work perfectly
- VPN works fine
- Central storage via my external hard drive works perfectly on the iPhone 7+ with the Internet-Box app and with the FileBrowser or Readdle Documents and on the Mac too
- SONOS works perfectly with the external hard drive (central storage)
Completely satisfied so far…:smileyhappy:
Connected this evening, installed a backup, everything is good! 😉
Auuuuuusser: It was upgraded from a 40′ profile to a 50′. Well meant and I would actually be happy about it… but since the signal-to-noise ratio has fallen to 8.3db in the downtime, I’m afraid I’ll have problems watching TV again 😞
I’ll test it and if necessary report it to support and ask them to switch me down again 😞

For me the values are even lower and so far it has worked with two UHD TV boxes without any problems!

Hmmm… my values are similar to @WalterB, but the sync speed is underground for me:smileysad:. Would it perhaps help to measure the line again?

The performance should adjust automatically as normal, it is important not to turn off the Internet box at the back at the power switch, just leave it on for a few weeks.

the values haven’t changed in ages. They were the same when I was still using the IB+ and that was a while ago.
Yes, I’m aware of the switch-off thing.
Could you initiate the measuring process? It’s possible that I’ll get a better sync then. It’s not really fun with these values.

What is shown with the speed test at the link below, important to measure via LAN?

The following (always measure via LAN). The values match the profile quite well.
Still had to remove my external IP. I had overlooked it before.

Have you ever contacted support and asked about the big difference?
I can’t do anything about your Anschluss myself because I’m a customer like you.
It is important to mention that the problem already existed with the IB+ and now also with the IB2.
So in my opinion it can’t be the Internet box.
