Hello @SwissBullet
I can only join @Gaeilgeoir. It’s nice to read words of praise sometimes.
My box also runs problem-free for the most part. But very rarely she also bitches. Then a little patience or just a restart usually helps.

Hi @acaillet
It’s always tricky to buy new hardware straight away. Personally, if functionality and stability is important to me, I let others test it first. This is also referred to as “battle-proven” equipment.
If you only want to invest the money when everything is stable and running smoothly, I would make use of the 14-day return policy and wait a little longer 😉.

But there are also customers like my wife and I. We put the new Box 5 into operation yesterday and everything is running great, no problem.
The Y cable I ordered for the dongle for the Logitech Harmony worked perfectly straight away.
It was clear to us from the start that as an “early adopter”
You have to live with possible restrictions until everything runs smoothly. You are not forced to buy the new box.
We had a voucher that we once received as a gift from Swisscom and were now able to redeem it.
Many things can and have been tested, even by non-Swisscom employees, e.g. B. also from me. Many problems were reported in advance by the beta testers and also Swisscom customers and were then largely corrected and implemented. Since there are thousands of possibilities and combinations of devices, certain problems are only now coming to light. HDMI, for example, says hello. That’s why it’s important if they are reported here.
But other, “not so important” functionalities were deliberately left behind, including Hbb TV or PiP. But we’re already working on it there too
