Replacing inOne home light

Dear Community,

On July 24, 2024, we will remove the inOne home light subscription from our offer and replace it with the new basic Home subscription. All customers with a inOne home light will automatically switch to the new basic Home. The new subscription offers more speed and costs 9.90 more.

Affected customers will benefit from the new offer at the old price until the end of August.

An information letter will be sent to them in June. It will of course be possible to switch to another offer at any time.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us or consult the Community.

Cordialement,

NicoleH

I’m part of the rare breed who just wants a landline, check my emails and watch a little TV 🙁 And Swisscom is increasing the price twice in 4 years… it’s dishonest! Pay 10.— more because you increase the internet to 50 Mbits when 10 is more than enough for me, I don’t really understand! You will do better to increase the quality of your customer service! I’ve been waiting for a week for a real person to call me back, I’m a little tired of talking and writing to machines!!! But where are we going???

Finally!
The bandwidth increase I’ve been waiting for for a long time!

It remains to be hoped that the copper connection will correctly support this innovation and that the promised performance will actually be available.

Good morning,

On June 12, 2024, I received a letter from Swisscom mentioning this replacement on July 24, 2024. The price will be increased by CHF 9.90/month from September 1, 2024. Apart from the bandwidth which increases from 10Mbits/s to 50Mbits/s, nothing changes for the landline telephone and TV. The InOne Home subscription was more than enough for me, I didn’t need anything else, and since you need internet to have landline telephony these days, it was more than enough.

I use 2 Bluewin email addresses and access to My Swisscom to view my invoices and control my connection settings. I have another abonnement Swisscom for my mobile, Swiss Mobile Flat.

I am absolutely not delighted to switch to Basic Home and pay CHF 60.- / month. I am thinking of terminating the Swisscom Inone Home contract before the end of June 2024. If I terminate the contract, can I keep my Bluewin email addresses and my access to my My Swisscom account?

All Swisscom will have gained is to lose CHF 720/year instead of keeping CHF 600/year.

Thank you for your response

Good morning

I am surprised and disappointed

as already mentioned by other customers an increase of almost 50.% in a few years is absurd for a user who does not ask for any increase in internet speed

This is more than sufficient for my needs.

Why does Swisscom not offer to upgrade to the Universal Service (Swisscom internet basic) which costs 45 Frs, which also has a download speed of 10 Mbit/s?

Good evening Baulloror41

It’s quite simple: for a download at 10 Mbit/s, it’s possible, but for sending at 1 Mbit/s in upload, the speed is very, very low. Additionally, there is no option for Swisscom TV or to add a phone line. If these two options do not interest you and you use the Internet very little, you can call 0800 800 800. There is an activation fee of 43 CHF for registering for “Swisscom Internet Basic”.

The price is abused for +9.90 CHF

5 CHF would have been enough to digest to gain 40 Mbit/s symmetrical to maintain its basic customer base.

Hello everyone, I had 2 subscriptions to 2 different TV and internet addresses, I save 130.- x 12, I’ll let you count every month and it works very well! Never again Swisscom 🗑️
