My wife with reduced vision (NHA) had the same problem.

The font can be set to large under the TV-Box “Accessibility” settings.

It helped for her, so I would give it a try.

Is it possible to change the background color somewhere in the settings? After a setup, all of the backgrounds suddenly have bright white fonts against a dreary and very ugly black background. We feel like we’re at a funeral!

Black is more energy-efficient for OLED TVs and easier on the eyes in dark rooms. So I think it’s better than the white one. When changing from Swisscom TV 1 to 2, it bothered many people that the background color changed from blue to white.

It would also be interesting to see whether the ‘already seen’ flag is no longer reset when a repeat is broadcast^^

So if I change the accessibility to large, the font only becomes about 5mm larger in the Quide, that doesn’t help and I have a 55 inch TV

No, we can’t. We are just customers like you.

@Kevauvoth39 you cannot download the update yourself, this happens automatically in the background, very important leave TV-Box in standby mode and never switch off the router.

At some point you will notice the dark mode interface, then you have received the update.

So as far as I know, “dark mode” is already implemented in EOS 3.2, because I’ve been using this mode for months and I’m happy with it.

You can access this mode via Settings (gear) > general settings > appearance
