and for exactly the same reason Swisscom must too.

Thank you very much, the evidence is complete.

Actually, I wrote the same thing as you about delay. At least that was my intention.

The rest: The scene in Switzerland is not big. You know each other. Then all the consistent reports from SC employees I personally know are ā€œfakeā€. I donā€™t really care, it doesnā€™t matter anyway.

The only confirmed thing is the official information that the rollout will take a few more weeks for operational reasons, everything else is pure speculation.

So the ā€œSwisscom Godā€ has decided and even spokenā€¦

One can perhaps deduce that the causes are not ā€œnon-operationalā€ reasons, otherwise it would be said ā€œfrom ongoing improvement measures for the new versionā€, or something similarā€¦.

In my opinion, you can really rule out the non-operational reasons.

My opinion on this:

If the SC has as long as it takes to upgrade to OS4 with the UHD box, the question is how to bring the TV-Air app 3.xx back to a decent level (sometimes relatively simple functions from 2.xx that have been ā€œdroppedā€) , at the end of February there was talk of OS4 (unfortunately the year was missing in MiriamFā€™s post). The TV-Air app was compulsorily introduced at the beginning of 2019 and only provided with mini-patches.

But maybe there are other developers at workā€¦

Yesterday my UHD box wanted to update to OS4.0.

But it gets stuck when booting.

Had to reset the box. Now running on OS3.2 again

Just wait, itā€™ll come back. Also at the 1st. Wait a few minutes to boot, the process can take longerā€¦

Of course I waited and called support after more than 4 hours, and then I was told to do a reset.

Iā€™m wondering if the updates arenā€™t tested? Luckily there arenā€™t that many hardware variants.

Such updates can repeatedly cause problems for some users, although it can work for several thousand.

It is important to report this so that it can be clarified.

N.b. Is the TV-Box connected directly via LAN, i.e. without a WLAN bridge or D-LAN (Powerline)?

Hello everyone

The rollout was stopped due to the current situation surrounding the Corona virus. It cannot yet be said when the rollout will continue.

The most important criterion now is that the available employees, especially on the hotline, can maintain the service and respond to our customersā€™ most urgent questions.

Greetings

IvanH
