I’ve now taken out a month’s subscription to Teleboy and find the difference in picture quality quite obvious from HD (SC) to FHD (Teleboy) on our new 55″ TV. Even my partner, who doesn’t have very good eyesight, has it noticed immediately.
There are a few small drawbacks in the usability of Teleboy’s software, where SC is even better, but Teleboy runs very well and stable on the Apple TV/Samsung TV. There are drawbacks for Teleboy because they do not offer Teletext and HbbTV. However, it’s worth checking for me because of the costs, which are a lot cheaper with Teleboy than with SC.
New SC box internal speaker problems switching on
Hello forum
We have recently started using the IP2000 box. Not a big difference to the IP1400 box, so far everything is good. If I start everything TV/HomeCinema using the SC remote control, the TV sound also comes via the internal speaker Swisscom Box and at the same time via the HomeCinema system, which is very tedious. Does anyone have the same problems, experiences, advice?
Thanks and greetings
Switching from IP1400 box to newer one
Hello forum,
We have been using the IP1400 box for years and it runs without any problems. Is it worth switching to a new generation or are they just packaged a little nicer?
We watch Netflix on the new TV because the quality (sound) is better. So we only watch the TV programs via the SC box, we don’t listen to the radio via the SC box either.
Thanks for opinions and advice.
New Ethernet (Gigabit) cable from Swisscom is causing problems.
Hello,
I received a new Ethernet 5m (Gigabit) cable from Swisscom today. Connected like the old Swisscom Ethernet cable. With the new cable, the speed drops and CNLab reports that there is a problem with the data rate limitation of a maximum of 100 Mbit/s in the home network. With the old cable, after I reconnected it, I had around 400 Mbit/s download and around 600 Mbit/s upload again. Swisscom Helpline then answered me that it might be a defective cable, or that the new cable would take some time to get up to speed? I’ve never heard of that before.
Thanks and greetings
