roku73 Do you already have the new software on your box? Because since I got it, I can only get back to the channel by pressing the back or home button. I used to press the guide button again after searching and I was back again.
I probably have the newer software than you (mentors also test software in advance that may be installed later). It is therefore possible that the problem will resolve itself with a later update.
Nevertheless, which TV box are you using? I just quickly tested it yesterday on the Swisscom box (IP2000), and the TV Guide button worked both for opening and closing the TV Guide.
Good morning Schaujaustiold21
I have just tested this on my Box 21 and Box 5
On both devices I can exit the EPG by pressing the Guide button. In other words, I cannot reproduce this.
Like @roku73, I am one of those users who test software versions in advance. So it may be that there was a software version in between where the problem existed. And maybe we never realised that. In any case, I can’t remember there ever being a problem. But maybe that was during my holidays.
Maybe @UrsSch can say something about it.

Hello together
I can’t figure it out for me either.
Without information about the TV box I’m using and the software version, I can’t really help either.
The “guide” button opens the EPG for me and when I press the “guide” button again, the EPG closes again and I am back to live TV where I came from.

Schaujaustiold21 New remote control The layout of the buttons takes some getting used to. I preferred the old user interface. The Guide button doesn’t allow you to return to the programme.
Would it be possible to have a photo of the old remote as well as the new one so that I can better understand the layout of the buttons and see what’s happening? Thank you for your help.
Best regards Doremi

I don’t see that anything has ever changed in the button layout regarding the Guide button.
@Schaujaustiold21 writes in the question about the button arrangement and a different user interface. Could it be that something is being mixed up? The button layout in the Guide area hasn’t really changed, has it? And what does the button layout have to do with the user interface? There is also a Back menu in the user interface as before.

GuidoL Hello
I’m very familiar with Swisscom remote controls. I’m asking about the @Schaujaustiold21 remote, just to find out if it has a universal remote for the old TV box.
I didn’t mean the buttons themselves, they’re still the same. I just meant the options I had before are no longer the same. I also meant that when you go to the guide button you no longer hear any sound from the current channel and you have to press back to get to the current channel. It doesn’t matter, but it takes some getting used to. In short, I liked the old version better. And the title film pictures are missing from my recordings. I have 300 recordings and half of the pictures are missing. There are pseudo pictures to replace them. All in all, the more complicated the software, the more problems arise.
