Does that mean that if the TV wants L as before, it will cost 9 CHF more? Or does TV L cost 9 CHF less and if you add Premium 20+, everything stays the same?

Addendum: I’ve seen it’s almost 4 CHF more, then I’ll cancel my Top Italiano + for 9 CHF, which is pretty thin anyway.

Then I will switch from the “ABo L” which gives me a maximum of 500/100 Mbit/s to the “ABo M” which also offers the same speed and is CHF 10 cheaper per month.

Quite the opposite @DomiP: Young people now save for life thanks to the new Simply Digital discount of CHF 10 and no longer just until 30. The Simply Digital discount can also be combined with the blue benefit, so in the Family can save up to CHF 40 per month per subscription 🙂

So I think the price for blue Mobile S is steep. 20.- more than inOne Basic, just for a little more speed (max 100 Mbit/s) and new 5G, but all roaming is eliminated. Momol Swisscom cha öppis. A very big step backwards.

blue Mobile M, new 5G and an increase in max. speed from 200 to 100. And an additional 10 centimes less. Thanks, I now have to think about switching from the iPhone XS Mas to a 13.

I probably have to recommend that my father switch to blue L. He previously had inOne Go, Intercontinental Pack and Connect Pack as a discounted promo. But since calls to the USA are no longer necessary, blue L should be enough, right?

@“x”#218712Compared to basic, the big leap with blue mobile S would be unlimited data? So I would compare it more with the Swiss flat. If I understood correctly, you can now benefit from the blue advantage there.

Show original language (German)

@whoever Agreed, the unlimited data is great. But for my mother, the inOne Basic is simply better. She hardly needs the mobile internet.

I would have set up the subscriptions differently.

The old basic is now blue S, and the planned blue S as blue Swiss flat.

January, that’s just the way it is now. And you can stay on the inOne Basic.

That’s true, but specifically in my sister’s case, she currently pays 60.- and would pay 69.90.- with the new subscription. This clearly shows that when such amounts are reduced, you are usually aiming for an entire family.

Excitingly, the whole family would save around CHF 26.10 (4 pax + home) with us. A Netflix subscription is good now and can be financed with it, but it is rather suboptimal for individuals.

@CorinneA the discounts are actually valid for “lifetime” (or probably until the next renaming of the model - maybe CSX Mobile 😉?). At the moment I’m still living at home due to my training - but if I move out would that mean that all discounts (apart from the self-help discount) will no longer apply? Or could you use the system here like with the second home/holiday apartment (+5.-)? 😉

Hello. What happens to my blue TV X? Do I now have to have Netflix billed elsewhere again? Greeting

As I understand it, only the mobile subscriptions are changed automatically.
However, what happens with a combination discount still needs to be clarified. Is there a combination discount if, for example, you have inOne Internet and a blue Mobile M @ThomasS

@DomiP

At the end of the article it is also mentioned that 99 prices do not represent quality in the minds of customers and should therefore not be used by premium providers.

Swisscom wants to be a premium provider and at the same time, with its 99 prices, it gives itself the image of a “cheap Jakob dealer” of lower quality. Even Wingo cannot be stooped to such a primitive level.

Show original language (German)

You’re right, but maybe customers actually fall for it… I mean, many people may not be aware that Wingo, MBud or Coop are direct brands of SC - the same with Sunrise and Salt. But sure, it makes a very cheap impression in contrast to the other providers - but hey! -.10 saved. (That used to be half the kiosk 😉 )

@DomiP

Now I’m just waiting for a broad advertising campaign under the motto “General price reductions at Swisscom”. This would completely ruin the credibility and seriousness of the brand.

@Stephan_76 @Wissbegieriger

Thank you very much for the tip, you are of course absolutely right.

To be honest, up until now I have never differentiated between “Answers” and “Answer Now” or I didn’t even know the difference. To add another post, I usually pressed “Reply” and only used @xyz to determine whether it was a personal reply or a general post.

Now I realize why one answer or another sometimes led to confusion and why someone felt personally affected, even though I only wanted to give a general answer.

You never stop learning, thank you again.

@DomiP Does your sister have a Swiss flat for 60 today? Then she could take the blue Mobile S with Simply Digital for 59.90 (without Simply Digital 69.90) or an EU Flat with blue Mobile M & Simply Digital for 69.90. And if there is another home in the same household, at least CHF 20 blue benefit would be added.

If you move out and there is no home in your new household. If blue internet is available, the blue benefit would no longer apply, but the self-help discount (Simply Digital) would remain. Every household (whether a shared apartment or a holiday apartment) must have its own landline network in order to benefit from the blue benefit. With the monthly savings amount, it is worth having all the products in a shared apartment/house from the same provider.
