Almost 90% of the problem is certainly related to Corona. The broadcasters such as ARD or SRF would be broadcasting “Rosamunde Pilcher” at this point, but “Point de Presse - from the Bundeshaus Media Center” is broadcast in this broadcast window.

I think that the responsibility for updating this channel information and EPG data lies at the discretion of the broadcaster (for example SRF or ARD).

But since, for example, press conferences from the Bundestag or the Federal Palace usually cannot be kept within time limits (i.e. start at the right time and end again on time), the broadcasters will certainly simply leave these actual channel details as they are.

I would also like to briefly point out to you that the problem is not enormous. After all, you can also see the next program directly from the station.

But I think you would definitely have to contact SRG to get it fixed. Whether there will be an echo or a reaction is anyone’s guess.

So you are of the opinion “Corona” or not that Swisscom should employ more people who contact the broadcasters every day to keep the changed programs up to date.

According to previous comments on the same question, it appears that this is not due to external suppliers, but rather that this program must be maintained by the broadcasters. The best thing to do is to contact all affected broadcasters and write to them asking them to please adjust their programming in advance. If you check the ARD homepage now, there is nothing about a special daily show - not even on the station. But at 8:15 p.m. “The Bolzano Crime Story” will be broadcast there.

Of course, Swisscom will hardly do this live, but will still have a certain delay simply due to the data flow - but the main source seems to be the broadcasters.

And still off-topic: your post sounds to me as if your pulse and blood pressure are skyrocketing due to an incorrect EPG. This is not good, especially in times of Corona, as high blood pressure is a risk factor - so my recommendation: take a deep breath and enjoy the fact that you know the TV program better than the channels themselves🙂.

I think in such a situation you shouldn’t open an office because of a faulty EPG, but rather be patient with those responsible at the broadcasters. The SRG in particular now has to deliver a lot of what the federal government wants “on demand”. This can sometimes lead to panic…

Get in touch with them, they could certainly use someone who can constantly update the EPGs for you. 😂😉

As already noted (see above): You are talking about ARD and say that Swisscom is misrepresenting this. But it still applies: If you check the ARD website now (12:19), there is nothing in the TV program this evening regarding a special program. So here’s my view again in 2-3 points:

• You are therefore demanding that Swisscom begins to correct the TV program itself manually wherever the broadcasters provide this incorrectly. This demand can be made. But I can also find such a demand ridiculous. That’s my view: It’s better to complain to ARD that they should maintain their data in advance (preferably a few days in advance).
• In my opinion, I would leave it open whether Swisscom should here - see point above.
• Why it’s a problem if you express your displeasure here: That’s not a problem at all. You can do that. But I can also find it ridiculous for such a triviality 😉. So everyone has their own perspective and that’s a good thing. In the end, it’s neither your view nor my view that matters, but in the end the most commonly represented view/opinion is relevant in Switzerland. And that’s a good thing (at least for me).
• Nevertheless, I believe that there is a reason why the anger here is not really appropriate: it is a customer-help-customer forum. But each person is allowed to deal with it however he/she wants - and I can also have my opinion on how I feel about dealing with it.

The EPG on the LOVENATURE 4K channel has only stopped working for exactly 1 hour since the summer time change. This has nothing to do with Corona or anything else.

I have the same problem too, but when I was at our neighbor’s house this afternoon, it was showing him the program that was currently being broadcast. He is also at Swisscom like me. That means it can’t be the broadcaster’s fault.

Yes, there are a few things wrong at the moment.

But Swisscom receives this information from the broadcasters and does not type it in itself.

If something is delivered incorrectly, Swisscom can rarely do anything about it.

In addition, due to the current situation, a lot of changes are being made to the programs that are not being communicated.

See sports channel. Almost nothing is right there.

@LouisCyphre ARD recently announced that, if there are time gaps, educational television will always be shown if possible.
