@eho-ems

Exactly, some here, including @Chips and @Jean-Pierre_Feron (who are currently appearing in the proposals) and also me, are allowed to test a new version that will be reserved for the public.

The test started about 3 weeks ago, which is why you’re talking about the regular app. 😅🙈

And as @ThomasS mentioned, we were included in the pool for the KuCe. However, this is regulated externally (i.e. not in the community). Releases with new functions are being created and we can discuss them as soon as they have been activated by the developers in the Lounge - Myswisscom thread.😋

But I think that the first release can be expected from next week. 🤔

@eho-ems The registration deadline for registering with this app has already expired for around three weeks. I don’t think you can be added to the system now - since you’ve only just “appeared” in the community.

You’ll have to check with the moderators (including @AdrianW, especially during the well-deserved holidays) to see whether this is still possible.

So to clear up the confusion here 🙂

@eho-ems You have registered to take part in future tests on My Swisscom Kundencenter (the website). You were informed about this via private message and saw a test board in the lounge.

You did not sign up for the app test. The registration period for this is over. The app you downloaded is probably the regular version. However, this topic is there for feedback from users who are testing the test version of the app.

I’ll answer your feedback about the community via PM~. I’ll correct you, I’d like to clarify with you via PM, but if you don’t allow private messages in your settings, I can’t send you anything.

@DomiP Thanks for the support. I don’t think we can expect a test regarding Kundencenter any time soon, but we’ll see. 🙂

@ThomasS

Hello and thank you very much for the clarifications, I can now move on!

  1. The app test wasn’t my goal at all, I guess I let the established app testers drive me crazy 😀
  2. I would like to test the Kundencenter website and give feedback from the perspective of a normal user under Win10 (especially graphics and AV programs) who uses the router for Internet, TV and telephony (including SIP).
  3. I’m not a proframing freak or hacker, I just want to use tools that are as easy to use and clear as possible 😋 and I can certainly contribute to this since I used to write and format manuals for industrial devices.
  4. Thank you for the tip about my settings, 🤗 I corrected them and am eagerly awaiting your private messages 😎

Wow, I have to say, after the first update the app runs much smoother for me.

Many known bugs have been fixed, but I noticed some again:

  • If you have a long name, it will simply be cut off when greeting you. Apparently a padding or a break is missing here.
  • The You/They scenario is still very inconsistent.
  • The login does not always work. It took me about 4 attempts before I was redirected…

Hello everyone.

The first launch on iOS was rather leisurely. The “Included unit consumption” display in the products under the mobile subscription shows an error. That’s the first impression…

First impression: Traveling much faster. When installing on the iPad I had to go through Google again; with Safari I was in an endless loop again. I’ll look into the app a little more intensively tomorrow.

As DomiP already wrote, the app runs a lot more smoothly after the update.

I also noticed an error. When I click on my mobile number (inOne mobile Go) on the homepage:

On the one hand it would be nice if the error were fixed, on the other hand (in my opinion) the error message itself needs to be adjusted somewhat.

For example

An error has occurred.

or then just errors. But that’s really just a minor blemish.

I really like the feature of direct routing to the router without a password when logging in to the router…!
Have fun everyone testing and trying out…

I think it would be nice if you could implement a function for the error that @Stephan_76 mentioned that can report the error - and if the error is already known and is being worked on, this is still there.

What would also be nice if you were informed about this fault - it would actually be like a normal fault report for TV or landline - just not that “important”…

I drew something again about how it could be implemented 😅🤣

@Stephan_76 for me (Android) home page mobile number…everything OK (but it’s prepaid).

In general, something has been achieved in a short time:thumbs_up: much more smoothly

Profile icon very good! (was previously a woman’s head)

In general, PDF files (invoices and others) are not displayed (Android only?)

French Text in help “Dérangement de courant” still needs to be corrected to “Dérangement en cours”.
Otherwise the Frenchman sees Text very well.

I’m slowly checking more!

I took a little time today and played with the app. Overall, I made the same findings as with the first version. Router access does not work and no data can be accessed. Practically nothing works with the business products and the cockpit doesn’t work either. The frequent cookie messages also bother me.

But, I’m already sure that the app will be excellent and will actually make the other Swisscom apps superfluous if the telephone function is implemented. Good work, keep it up!

May I print out a wish when I get in touch with the development team?

For years I have been asking (and I am not the only one) to be given the opportunity to get the lists as a txt file (with a tab to separate the columns, as Excel compatible) from the TV channel lists in the customer center.

Would this be possible in the app?

Thanks!

The error occurs for me on both Android and iOS.

The PDF problem still “only” affects Android.

So, I’ve been testing the new version for a few days and it runs much better than the first version.

Even if I repeat myself, I can’t live with the fact that I can’t look up the included units used anywhere.

I mean this:

Cruncher_0-1582202394883.jpeg

and just. Dark mode. The menus really dazzle you 😊

I just installed the latest beta. From the graphics it looks good. But the performance of the menus is terrible. The lag is almost unbearable 😂

And I only mentioned it again because I didn’t get a response to any of my posts and it probably doesn’t bother anyone else but me. I would like to have the consumption display in there again as described in my last post.

So once again with this release our colleagues have once again outdone themselves!

The background image at the start - where the notifications appear - is simply fantastic! (Nb, can you get this somewhere, it would make a great wallpaper for your mobile phone and PC 🙈)

The problem with the speed mentioned by @Cruncher doesn’t seem too bad to me… It might be a little faster, but the animations are therefore very successful.

What still bothers me are the elements of the web-based KuCe…

In my opinion, the card elements should all have a uniform design (such as border radius and width) - although I simply like these design elements of the native app better than those of the KuCe.

  • I think that either the new KuCe should be refined, or the data should only be loaded via REST call. (REST access to the KuCe is possible and the data can be read out, provided that either CORS is deactivated or is simply loaded via the Swisscom server).

Otherwise, there are always more improvements that are really great.

Idea about the user picture:

For community users, you could also use the image used for the profile there as long as you log in using the same login.

Of course, community integration into an app point would then be an option.

Latest release today on iOS:

Quickly tried out the menus. Quite a waiting time between subpages and no valid forwarding to the router in the Internet menu. Otherwise very well constructed and visually a very good impression.
Now try it out a little further, it does have a few options within the menus.
