@Cruncher Unfortunately I can’t give you a better answer for the moment. You have to know that the app is based on a completely new IT infrastructure. This offers a lot of new possibilities and at the same time certain functions are no longer available. At least for now. The app as it is today is a snapshot. In a few months there will be various new possibilities that would not be possible with today’s IT architecture.
@Chips Follow-up question, do you see your business Natel subscription Go and at the same time your private products such as TV/Internet/landline?
Hello @AdrianW
Yes, the problem still exists on Android. When I’m up
The invoice as PDF
When I click, I can visually see that I’m clicking, but otherwise nothing happens.
The same thing applies to Verbindungsnachweis as PDF and Excel. It visually shows that I’m typing, but nothing happens.
Now to iOS
Here I noticed that the Verbindungsnachweis cannot be opened. Neither as Excel nor as PDF
@Stephan_76 @AdrianW I can confirm that PDF does not open.
@Albatros2 wrote:
I think opening PDF worked at the beginning. But you also removed the PDF invoices from the emails. But I think you can ask for it back.
The first reports of this came on February 6th and only affect Android (at least as far as the bills are concerned). This has nothing to do with the email.
You can set in Kundencenter yourself whether you would like to receive the invoice by email as a PDF. This setting has nothing to do with the app.
I test the app with Android and iOS so I can compare well.
Hello zame!
I noticed that Swisscom is already “advertising” this app and is already sharing screenshots: [https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/mobile/my-swisscom-app.html](https: //www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/mobile/my-swisscom-app.html)
Now I’m wondering, am I the only one who can still download the “old” MySwisscom app from the app in the PlayStore or is that generally a mistake?
(maybe @AdrianW )

Good morning @DomiP
A round of applause for your vigilance! 😉 Yes, we have taken a first go live step.
We didn’t celebrate this with a big bang on stage, but rather proceed carefully. The week before last and last week we launched the app in small steps. Today Monday we are live at almost 40% for Android users.
We will probably launch iOS after Easter. So be present even with a little communication. You have already noticed the first communication. 😉👍
Best regards
adrian
P.S. The issue with the PDF has been addressed. Hopefully we will have fixed this in the next update or the one after that. In any case, thanks for the feedback. We have had some internal discussions about this.
Once again, an updated version of the alpha release of the app was distributed via the App Center.
To be honest, I don’t notice much that’s new - but there are some improvements, especially in the logical process. However, I once again noticed several bugs, which I personally find a bit “ugly” and could perhaps be improved in a further release - and of course also in the Mayor release for the masses.
I noticed the following “problems”:
If you look at the mobile subscription under Products, the subscription benefits are displayed.
For example, it now says that I benefit from the inOne advantage of 20 Stutz.- Below this box there is another box that advertises the inOne advantage. Which doesn’t make much sense since I already have it.
- To avoid confusing users, perhaps some kind of logic should be applied that goes something like this: “If inOne benefit exists in subscription benefits, hide box inOne benefit; otherwise, show the box.”
- Below this box there is another box that advertises the inOne advantage. Which doesn’t make much sense since I already have it.
The ad on the imprint page bothers me a bit - but again it’s a matter of taste…
- “Name” is written above the address - is that from another app?
- Contact details or “Developed by” would be more logical so that this is well understood. (And: is the headquarters really necessary? Almost everyone knows that Swisscom is based in Bern….)
- In the “App Details” the title “Application” is also a bit misleading. I would use something like “Information about this version” or “App information”.
- The “privacy policy” seems a bit strange to me as a native German speaker. It’s correct in English, but I would rather use “data protection declaration” or another German term.
- “Name” is written above the address - is that from another app?
- Among other things, I noticed a few things about the display on the home page that stand out when you look at it for a longer period of time.
- Icons such as the invoice (payment slip icon) and the shop finder (map pin) do not have the same color. I would use blue as the default color for the icons throughout the entire app. The profile and clock icons are also a bit too dark.
- The “clock” icon and the profile icon in the homepage header are (at least it seems to me) not the same size. The profile icon is a little smaller (just a müü).
- This greeting (it is currently Happy Easter) is also displayed on the picture of the Appenzell mountains on the home page. If a ticket is still open, the ticket is displayed.
- I would find it practical if you could switch between greeting and tickets like an image gallery (with the dots at the end of the image).
- A function for customers to close tickets (if they have not been closed again by customer service, for example) would also be practical.
Finally, I have a design suggestion that could perhaps be taken into account in the next release (i.e. 11 or 12) (?):
- Many apps use the cornered design for the homepage. That would also be nice with the Swisscom app, as you would then see the image better and the app would look a lot simpler and tidier.

(But of course it’s also a matter of taste) 😉
Greetings and happy Easter!

I was only able to take a quick look at:
the PDF files are now (finally) displayed 😀
in Help French. Version still says “dérangements de courant” 😫
at Swisscom TV status: error message (in Kundencenter: information not available)
Nothing happens with the “Personnaliser sa page d’accueil” profile!
Kind regards
JPF
The app has been live in the Apple App Store since this morning.
I thought it was cool that we were allowed to test in advance, but I don’t know what to think of this beta test.
I have been active in the SC community for a long time and have also taken part in various app beta tests. Also MySwisscom beta testing. There, the opinions and inputs of the users were often based on, or at least it was explained why this or that doesn’t work or comes later.
Somehow that wasn’t the case here, or at least I have the feeling that it wasn’t the case.
For me still:
- App logo and design does not fit into the range of other Swisscom apps. All other icons are blue except MySwisscom. I know that this was the case before, but it should have been standardized here.
- I don’t see the added benefit of the new app either, as only the browser version has actually been adapted for mobile use. New functions such as dark mode (which even SBB and Whatsapp finally achieved after X months). You managed it with the new TVOS.
- As I have already mentioned several times, I am also missing functions such as “data consumption”. I no longer have any indication of how much data I use with my subscription, other than I add it up myself on my cell phone. But with MultiDevice this becomes tedious. Data usage is no longer shown on the bill at the end of the month…
- Many functions are not natively built into the app. In other words, when I go to “Ongoing costs” or my prepaid number, an in-app browser opens on the mobile Swisscom Kundencenter. This also happens if you want to view the current open invoice. The in-app browser doesn’t even open, but rather the external one.
I don’t want to offend anyone or anything like that. Just stating my opinion.
@Cruncher I completely agree with you.
Hopefully the points will be pursued further and we will be offered to test again before the release (which seems to me almost too early for the public release).
Personally, I think the logo and the color scheme are much nicer, as they harmonize a little better with the products (such as TV-Box, WLAN-Box, Internet-Box and Co.). They are white and only have the Swisscom logo on them.
Maybe a different, lighter logo in gray or just blue would be nicer - and use a vector graphic on the splash screen instead of a normal image, as it really looks a bit strange on an “abnormal” device with a different screen format.
Maybe if dark mode is also there, the background could be kept in dark gray and only the simple, white logo could be set as an icon.
But what is certainly a must in a final version is that the websites are at least opened in a slightly nicer in-app browser and not an activity is started with that fat bar at the top. Maybe a FAB button instead of the bar at the bottom corner of the screen?!
Then the design of the web parts should also be adapted to the app so that it appears consistent. As far as I know, a beta for the web version is being worked on anyway, right? Then it could be adopted there as well, it would only be logical…

@Chips perhaps these have already been taken into account, but not yet in this release.
In our development department, it is usually the case that we record bugs, but only implement them correctly after a few releases, because it either has a low priority or the solution has not yet been properly developed.
These are certainly written down somewhere in a list (called a backlog).
