  • @SomehowHuman: As assumed, the normal copper connection was put into operation on Friday, although the fiber optic connection in the system also has more information. You now at least have internet access via g.Fast.

I assume you haven’t received the SFP module for the IB3 yet, or have you been told something specific? Or what was the reason that you didn’t connect the router to the fiber optic socket?

  • @SomehowHuman et all… I’m not quite the right person and I’m forwarding it, but since it takes until Monday, let me give you the information in advance.

Before Christmas we had to act quickly and so the systems were deeply intervened so that the locations in the systems would not be ready for x years. That’s why “… there is no expansion date” appears in the checker. And since the property is connected to a g.Fast mCAN, the maximum speed is displayed on copper. When services were ordered, the system would show that only CU was available. In this case, 2 orders were set to planned, which means that the services are ready to be activated as soon as the block is removed. It’s entirely possible that this could have been overridden manually, but I’m not the expert on that and I can’t say whether Legal would have allowed it internally.

@POGO 1104: Are you at the same location as us? I only see a single FTTH Anschluss in the entire settlement and that is the one from @SomehowHuman, which was completed on 03/24/21 with 2 fibers on xgsPON.

Since May 10th, 2021, areas that have already been built have been marketed again and we have to reset or update the data again, as the development of properties continued (albeit at a slower pace). Unfortunately, this hasn’t happened completely yet, which is why fiber availability is still not visible here.

In the system I see the entry that the services for the location have a planned activation for May 14th, 2021, i.e. on Friday. But on the same day there was also a planned deactivation of main access (?), even though there is no Cu access. I can’t say whether this will work and apparently you haven’t received the right router yet. The reason for this is the blocked order, which only continues once the location is released. If this is really the case on May 14th, 21, then things will continue to work fine 😀 I will still give the case to my specialist in the team on Monday so that he can see what the status is and, if necessary, intervene so that the services are available asap.

    Hope this helps.. best regards
