Nokia Fastmile 5G Receiver from Swisscom blocked

I tried to use the Nokia Fastmile Receiver sold by Swisscom with a SIM card from another provider but It doesn't work.

Under Settings --> Network --> Cellular --> Access Point Name  there is only the Swisscom APN and it's not possible to change it.

In the manual of the Fastmile receiver it says that is possible to add / remove or edit APNs.

Is it possible that the device is blocked by Swisscom?

If so can I ask Swisscom to unblock it or send me the original firmware?

Hi @Bafioppeup25

Unfortunately, you won't get any support in this matter directly from Swisscom.

In the german version of this forum, @NilsL  played around with a booster - not sure if he was able to "free" it from the restrictions, though.

Maybe the following credentials will help you:

User: superadmin

Passwort: N5G#WebSu

Please let us know how it goes, as you are in uncharted territory 😉

Best,

I didn't play around with it all that much since I already had it listed on Ricardo and someone bid on it before I found the credentials @r00t mentioned

Because of that I only had a couple of days to mess with it and didn't want to break anything since it was technically already sold

If I remember correctly it is possible to change the APN but I still wasn't able to get a connection from the LAN Port since I didn't find where to change it to not use a VLAN for it's traffic and how to get it to act as a DHCP Server

I have the same issue.

Have a locked device from Swisscom. Wonder if anyone has had sucess in getting it unloacked by swisscom or by any other means..

Also how do you access the UI of the Device i can only see the info in the Nokia app during set up?

thank you
