Hello @Anonymous

you cannot prevent the update. There is no reason for this, the box was already running with Google software.

Good afternoon. What if I don’t want this update? Will my TV continue to work for the next 10 years?

Hello @Anonymous

No, the box can no longer be used without an update!

That’s not entirely true: “without an update” is not possible, you get it either way - unless you never turn the box on again…

Hello everyone

It’s unbelievable the shenanigans that take place here. Again and again this; I don’t want the update, does it work without updates, why do I suddenly have to…… mimimimi

If it doesn’t suit you, you should change provider. But that’s enough of the whining now.

We did the update for everyone and period.

The TV box has an audio output. This no longer works after the update. Previously it was running perfectly. This is the problem. Technical support does not yet know of a solution

The audio output generally works (not just for me).

But a problem was discovered that if, for example, a PC monitor without Speakers are connected so that the audio output of the TV-Box 21 remains mute. But we are working on a solution for this

Preview function… and if a function is practical, e.g. to see if there is still advertising (according to the statements, many people used it for this) - then of course it is no longer there after the update and is unimportant… well… don’t miss the advertising!

…my TV has already switched on automatically again and (probably in idle mode) suddenly shows pictures or ‘Google’ photographs of complete strangers on my screen that I don’t want to see. How to disable this?

It’s a shame that you have to complain and things that don’t go well are otherwise not recognized in advance.

There was a statement from an employee that if there is something in the forum where someone has a problem, it only affects a few customers/users and is minimal. However, if you consider how few customers/users participate here, then you should also realize that such a problem could also be extrapolated to the number of customers/users.

The opinion of each individual customer remains important.

There are many who say nothing.

…at the time I signed the contract, this was also not agreed with the replay advertising. But that doesn’t belong to the topic that is being discussed here. It’s a shame so many things happen that make watching TV more difficult and worse - when TV already has to fight against the Internet…
