  • I’m in the same situation as you. My IB3 does not allow me to do site-to-site because

Unifi Site manager does not “see” the public IP address of Swisscom.

I tried with a Centro Grande 2.0 but no difference even when activating IP passthrough.

The ideal would be to only have a modem and not a modem router but there are so many that I’m quite lost.

I also consulted the Swisscom page on this subject:

    [https://www.swisscom.ch/fr/clients-prives/aide/peripheriques/internet/routeur-externe.html](https://www.swisscom.ch/fr/clients-prives/aide/peripheriques/ internet/external-router.html)

In the end, I don’t know which one to choose, at least the best one…

If you have any advice on choosing a modem, I’m all ears 🙂

  • Is there not a way to integrate a function into the Internet Box? This function is present in the Ubiquiti Dream Router for example.
My UDR failed me and I put the Internet Box back on…

I have to say that this function was really top notch. Now I find myself with a lot of advertising on the browser and it’s quite heavy when visiting the web…

  • I called the Hotline and we looked at the quality of the line and everything is good.

No quality issues or signal loss.

The Internet Box was also changed and the problems persist…

A friend lent me a Unifi dream router to see if the local network was the problem and I had no more problems after installation. Obviously, that’s two routers and it’s not very practical…

  • Replace Internet Box 3 with Centro Business 2.0

    Hello everyone,

Currently, I have a classic Internet subscription with Blue home with an Internet Box 3.

The problem is that I have a lot of devices connected to it (around 30) and I have a lot of data passing through.

I have speakers that require a lot of data (Devialet Phatoms + Roon streaming software). Music in high quality format requires a lot of data and the box cannot cope with all the devices connected at the same time.

When I work from home, the connection to my computers via VPN drops quite often, the TV stops, but as soon as I stop the music, I have much fewer problems.

Isn’t the internet box a little overwhelmed by events in the local network when there is too much data?

I was thinking of switching to a Centro Business 2 router to see if it was more stable on local networks…

Thank you in advance for your help 🙂

  • Good morning,

I would like to operate the TV Boxes behind my UniFi Dream Router.

This is not the PRO model, it is the model below:

    https://eu.store.ui.com/products/dream-router

The goal being to do without the Box 3 internet because I have a lot of latency issues with…

I have Devialet speakers that pass through the LAN with a Roon Audio system and the Internet-Box really struggles when there are people connected to it. I changed all the network cables but nothing works.

Since I have the Dream Router everything is better and I no longer have problems with music but it tells me about latencies on the Swisscom modem side.

So I would like to do without the Internet Box but for that I would like the Swisscom TV Box to work on the Dream Router.

I have read several posts but they talk about a configuration with PRO models but not with models like I have…

Could anyone help me find a solution?

I thank you all in advance for processing my request and I wish you an excellent day.

    Nicholas
