I’ve never actually heard of Swisscom specifically blocking a WLAN, because in the event of malware conspicuousness, the entire Internet connection including Internet access of LAN-connected devices is usually blocked.

If you look back at other discussions about Swisscom Internet blocks, the offenders are quite often web cams or the use of external VPN services.

Swisscom recommends always protecting the WLAN with a password. The WPA3 encryption type offers the best possible security, but only a few devices are supported. WPA2/WPA3 is therefore normally recommended. Please note that all WLAN devices must be reconnected after changing the encryption type.
The WEP encryption type is not supported by the Internet Box as it is considered insecure.
