@WalterB Yes, exactly, I only have one email with the light subscription at the moment. But I would like to switch to the basic subscription just because of the storage space
It should be possible in Kundencenter to switch the email subscription to the corresponding variant according to the link below.

Otherwise maybe get in touch.

@WalterB perfect then I’ll take a look further - thank you very much! 🙂
Oops! swisscom also wants to earn money from the advertising cake for emails…
Is our email now being filled with advertising? Microsoft is already trying that with the new Outlook - every time you open the thing you have some garbage in your email. If you don’t want that you can pay…
I have such a thick neck. Swisscom is also forcing us to register again and use the cloud - I don’t want that! I have saved everything that is important to me locally.
Greeting
Kude
All no problem if it is possible to install Thunderbird, no more advertising and special registration necessary, you can also outsource the email locally, so with 1GB there is enough memory for the Bluewin email.

Is the following setup still possible:
2 Bluewin light accounts combined under one Swisscom login. Does this automatically become a basic subscription?
Thank you.
There is only one free email account with 1GB**_ and if you want the basic version then it costs.

According to the first graphic, Light remains. Let’s wait and see what happens.
So this is new to me two Light accounts with the same login?

It may no longer be possible today. But before, I set it up like this for my Eltern.
Light remains light. And if not, please adjust the graphic (arrow from Light to Basic).
We are customers like you and me and cannot make changes, but we can help where we have good knowledge.
In any case, you have to move one of the email accounts to a separate Swisscom login if you still want it for free.

Actually, customers who automatically switch to a paid Basic Mail should be informed individually in June. (Background: So that there is no special right of termination when the additional costs are introduced at the end of August)
However, this individual customer information is e.g. For example, it hasn’t happened to me yet.
I could therefore also imagine that various things in this project are already behind schedule and therefore need to be reconsidered internally at Swisscom and possibly adjusted again.
From our customers’ perspective, my recommendation would be:
Just keep waiting until you actually receive an individual cover letter about the new basic email.

Hello everyone
Since nothing has happened since the announcement in April, I used the time to study the new (undated) “Email Subscription Terms of Use”. Maybe there is a lawyer among you who understands the sometimes awkward gibberish. Regarding the much-discussed transferring of email addresses to yourself, see the article below
6. Transfer of email accounts (including email addresses)
An email account can be removed from an email subscription and transferred to another Swisscom email subscription in My Swisscom. If a previous user of an email account requests that it be transferred to them, they can
Swisscom can also carry out this transfer against the will of the contract holder and remove it from his email subscription if the email address can be clearly assigned to the previous user.
In order to understand this text you would probably have to ask the author what he actually wanted to say 🙂
When I searched for the original Swissscom source, I haven’t found anything yet. Can you possibly copy a direct link to it here in this thread?
