    when I record a series with 2 episodes on the same evening, I am missing episodes… examples: love is in the meadow: on 21.08, I had the 2 episodes, on 28.08 I only have the first, same on September 4 and 11. On September 18, I had both

    The best pastry chef: on September 6, I only had the first episode. On the 13th there was no broadcast because of Morocco. On 29.09, I have the 2 episodes.
    I already had this problem with other series before these 2.
    I tried to ask the question through the Swisscom Whats app, but apart from SAM which serves no purpose, except to make us go to my Swisscom and in the end, apart from wasting time, I had no answer to my question. ….
    - Do other people also have this problem?
    - how were you able to resolve it?

      Après plusieurs tests et contacts avec des spécialistes TV, voici le feedback que je peux vous transmettre:

      La TV-Box est conçue pour que les épisodes qui portent le même nom soient effacés après 7 jours.

      Plusieurs programmes d’M6 sont diffusés de cette manière: 1 épisode par semaine en 2 parties, soit 2 plages du TV-Guide. La difficulté est que les 2 parties de l’épisode sont désignés par le même identifiant (ID). La deuxième partie est donc effacée automatiquement par le système après 7 jours.

      Chaque semaine, une opération de nettoyage est effectuée sur ces ID d’épisode identiques. Bien qu’il s’agisse de deux émissions différentes, seul l’ID d’épisode est pris en compte.

      J’ai testé la solution de contournement d’archiver l’épisode. Le système n’en tient pas compte et supprime quand même la deuxième partie de l’épisode. Lorsque les parties 1 et 2 partagent le même identifiant, le système suppose qu’il s’agit d’une rediffusion, même si ce n’est pas le cas.

      Le système est conçu de cette manière, dans une logique très complexe et ne sera pas modifié. J’ai cependant demandé au responsable s’il était possible de créer une règle supplémentaire, selon laquelle si l’épisode est archivé, il ne doit pas être supprimé. En l’absence du spécialiste concerné, nous n’attendons pas de réponse avant le mois d’août. Nous allons également vérifier s’il est possible d’attirer l’attention d’M6 à ce sujet. En effet, si les métadonnées transmises à notre système sont correctes, les deuxièmes parties d’épisode ne seraient pas supprimés.

      Comme nous ne pouvons garantir ici aucune solution pour le moment, je vous invite à tester la solution de contournement suivante lors de l’enregistrement de votre prochain programme avec épisode en 2 parties: prolonger la durée d’enregistrement de la première partie de l’épisode d’une durée de 2 heures dans les paramètres d’enregistrement => Gérer > Réglages > Fin de l’enregistrement 2 h plus tard.

    for example for the series L’amour est dans le pré on the M6 ​​channel

    otherwise with the Replay option the episodes are still available 7 days after their broadcast

    thank you, I know how to record a series 🤣🤣… I’ve been using my TV box for years!!!! And I also know I have a 7 day replay, thanks. It’s just that I often leave for several weeks and therefore no more replays possible and episodes that are missing

      In fact it’s the supplier M6 who names the episodes strangely!

      The two following ones have exactly the same episode number and the same name, but the first is 45 minutes while the second is 80 minutes.

      With the setting to show multiple episodes, both should be visible in the list of recordings with the same name, but different content.

      I activated the recording of the series on M6. I have one recorded from today’s replay and three to come, the second from today and the two from November 6th.
      I’ll check if I lose any in the following weeks.

During the week of October 16 to 22, I am missing the 2nd episode of Monday, October 16 of love is in the meadow and the 2nd episode of the best pastry chef of October 18…I am waiting for your Feed back

      I have first observations after activating the recording of the two series.
      On 31.10 I activated the recording of the series The best pastry chef and I was able to verify that the two broadcasts of 25.10 were recorded. They were available in replay and visible in the list of recordings.
      As I did the manipulations with the app on the PC, I also memorized the direct links (URL) to the two recordings.
      Today, 02.11, these two episodes are no longer in the replay and one of the two has disappeared from the recordings.
      If I use the direct links that I had memorized, only the second episode is still available.

      @NathalieSI Could you pass the information on to the team looking for the problem. In the case of these paired episodes this seems linked to the management of the replay period which erases one of the two recorded episodes.

      thank you for your tests. For me it was the recordings for the weeks of October 16 to 22 that were buggy. On the 16th, the 2nd episode of love is in the meadow was not in the recordings and on the 18th, it was the 2nd episode of the best pastry chef which was not there. For the week of October 23 to 29 I had the 2 episodes of each show. As you have already mentioned, M6 gives the same name to the 2 episodes of the same evening for one of 45 minutes and one of 80 minutes, which could cause this problem??? But in this case, why every x weeks????

      @NathalieSI I confirm the diagnosis for the two series mentioned above which have episodes in pairs with the same name. I lost two more.

      As soon as it is no longer available for replay, although having been marked as recorded, the second episode of the pair disappears from the list of recordings.

      I noticed the same thing as you: I kept the recordings from November 8 of the best pastry chef that I watched. Then the 2 episodes of the 15th were recorded in succession. On the 15th I had all 4 episodes and today I checked and I no longer have the 2nd episode from November 8th. I took photos of my TV screen.

      same with love is in the meadow. The 2nd episode of November 6 was deleted after the recording of the 2 episodes of November 13, therefore at the end of the replay.

      So in fact, everything is recorded but as soon as I replay, one is erased and it’s always the 2nd.
      Do you have a response from technical service on this subject? Because now I no longer dare to trust series recordings. THANKS

      Hello, I seem to have the same problem. When I record a show that is spread over 2 time slots (2 episodes) but has the same name, I find both recordings. But the following week, when the sequel is recorded, that’s when the 2nd part of the previous show is erased. Is this the same problem as previously reported? Did you find a solution?       Hello, that’s exactly it. I have this problem with all shows that have 2 episodes on the same night. Top chef, the best pastry chef, married at first sight, etc. The following week, the 2nd episode was deleted. I reported it to the technical service by telephone. We only replied that it was M6 who was responsible. I then sent an email directly to the employee I had on the phone sending him a photo of my TV screen but he never responded. There I keep all my series recorded and I will take photos again and I will send a letter to the complaints department. I pay for a TV L subscription, and I refuse to settle for an answer like that. I am often absent and therefore lose a large part of my recordings each time, which does not suit me. If nothing changes, I will cancel my subscription. You should also report this problem to the complaints department. The more we demand, the more they will move to do something!!!

      Hello to all of you. I share the same problem with the two episodes broadcast on M6 (love is in the meadow, married at first sight, Pekin Express, etc…).

      I also have the same problem with the show Koh Lanta on TF1. The episode stays for a week then disappears, and instead is replaced by last year’s show.

      Swisscom TV could position itself on this? And if necessary, do what is necessary?
