@Doremi - But I only clicked to have more details on my “promotion” to the great Knight of the Rose and that’s when I switched to German… J I then clicked to be on French again, and ended up on a page which was not the translation but something else… I got fed up and closed the message…

I did nothing to switch to German and receive the following message from Black Mamba in German!!!!

My profile in the community is clear: I want - not to say “want” - the French version. If I wish to switch momentarily to German, I do so consciously and then switch back to French…

Well, I sent a WhatsApp to Swisscom to resolve the problem and learned that a “Swisscom Bot” will take care of it and respond to me within 30 minutes…. which is almost up.

If anyone knows what a “Swisscom Bot” is, I would be grateful if they could enlighten me.

Sorry for being so long, but this supremacy of German is starting to seriously annoy me… and not only at Swisscom!!!!

    As already explained if you consult the forum in German and in the meantime you receive an email, this email will be in German… Simply click on the box “Jetzt mitreden”written on the email like the example below Below you find yourself on the Germanic forum!

    The best solution is to never click on an email received in another language and to read your promotion or other responses without pressing this famous box, to read your responses received directly on the forum.

    @Doremi- In general I click on this blue beach which is normally always in French to get to the place mentioned because without that I get lost in the twists and turns of the Community.

      And it starts again… Today, I can finally program the shows that interest me on Arte from next Monday (see above… I must have already mentioned the problem)… There is once again a pure error on Monday February 21 at 10:45 p.m. The EPG announces to us

      for the next two broadcasts when it is “Rosenstrasse, Berlin 1943” by Maragarethe von Trotta followed by a report on the filmmaker. Let’s hope that by then blue TV will be kind enough to change the wording of these two shows…. We can always dream!!!!

      @LeylaG - I just wrote you a long message from my tablet, but as I sent it, I received a message saying “Oops, something went wrong”.. Indeed, my message has disappeared and the beginning of my text has not even been preserved… I will try to reconstruct what I wanted to write to you.

      I have not contacted Customer Service to report the errors in the EPG discovered recently and in particular today concerning the two broadcasts on Arte… Who should I contact when I notice this type of error? problems to hope that the corrections will be made? The only responses received to date have been along the lines of “it’s not us who are responsible”…

      If I were in blue TV’s place, I would be grateful for the information to be sent to me because to err is human. I would say “thank you” to the person who made the remark to me and pass it on to the appropriate person because somewhere, there must be a living being who can make the correction! This is all the more useful as it is impossible for us to change anything in the wording of the recorded programs and in this case, I believe that the two programs actually programmed can interest more viewers than children’s programs entitled “Special” and broadcast so late in the evening!!!

      I must be utopian…

      P.S. I haven’t completely reconstructed my first message which I thought was better, but I did the best I could!!!

      I have just scheduled my recordings for Friday February 25 and in particular on Arte…

      I would be grateful if you could ask the person responsible for the EPG to compare what is shown on TV and what is found on the Arte website.

      There we find the details of the programs “Regards” and “Invitation au voyage” and there is no new program “Special”, a children’s program which suddenly seems to be recurring in the EPG for this channel (shown that day at 7 p.m. instead of “Wild Slovenia”)!

      P.S. I really appreciate that now the date and time of recordings are systematically displayed in Community messages! A like to blue TV for following our suggestions!

      The incorrect information “Special”, Children’s Series, February 21 and 25, should be replaced with the correct program.

      The number of channels I watch regularly is limited and I often wonder what the situation is for the others. One of the channels I watch quite regularly is 3Sat and it doesn’t seem to me that there are the same problems as those that I noticed for “my” channels!

        France 5 informed us that the “program was offered in a multilingual version and in audio description”.

        I tried everything: it was impossible to have an English version and if I activated the subtitles they appeared with the audio description added… but still spoken in French!

        How should I have set my television to “simply” have a two-channel version with French subtitles?

          The corrections were made, but the programming I had made disappeared and suddenly I remembered that I wanted to watch the broadcasts of and about Margarethe von Trotta and I had to reprogram them …fortunately not too late because they were already in Replay.

          It’s really not very practical. Should I in the future have a small notebook where I write down the information I have transmitted and regularly check whether after the correction “reschedule” the broadcasts?

          On the other hand, I programmed in series the recording of the program “Ora Regelui” generally broadcast - but not regularly - on TVR International… Last Saturday, the program was not broadcast, but the recording was made when it was not on the program! This is the second time this mishap has happened and I don’t find it very serious. It’s really nonsense!

          Thank you for “reporting” my remarks to those concerned!

          P.S. It’s a “trifle”, but “Post” could advantageously be replaced by “Comment” or “Message” which are French words!!!!

            Funny to see that Canal+ (which is a French media) arrives on myCanal to keep its TV Guide constantly updated, for example with the change of RTS1 program following the conflict in Ukraine on the evening of February 24.

            Did the change of supplier resolve the multiple problems encountered on the EPG?

            These few words to inform you of a problem. A customer of Swisscom for a very long time, my wife and I have noticed programming errors for several months (if not completely wrong) between the program displayed on the TV and the program in the TV Guide newspaper.

            Indeed, here is an example:
            Scheduled on the Guide TV newspaper Saturday February 19 on the TSR 1 channel

            From 8:55 p.m. to 10:50 p.m.: THE GOOD WIFE (comedy)
            FROM 10:50 p.m. to 12:45 a.m.: COLD BLOOD (Film)

            The problem is that when we go to the program view of the Swisscom TV channels:

            From 8:55 p.m. to 12:45 a.m.: only THE GOOD WIFE is scheduled???
            On the other hand, if we enter this comedy and fast forward to the end of it (around 10:50 p.m. according to the timer) we find the film SANG FROID which is not in the program?? ??
            You will therefore understand that it is difficult to want to record a program if it is not displayed on the Swisscom TV program.

            For many years, we have trusted Swisscom for both TV and IT and we have always been very happy with the services and responses provided to various problems.
            But we must point out this programming problem to you because if the case were isolated it could happen, an error is admissible, but this now happens quite often and we think that when you pay more than 200 Frs each month. At Swisscom, we have the right to expect a little more rigor.

            yes indeed some broadcasters quickly adapt their TV Guide! 😀

            on the other hand, Swisscom uses a metadata provider, so the reaction time for updates is undoubtedly slower and sometimes delayed or even useless… 😠

            and to say that last year Swisscom changed supplier (too frequent complaints from customers 😡)

            yet updates of the TV-Guide blue TV are still often delayed or non-existent 🙄

            Should we question the new supplier or demand more efficient responsiveness from it?

            the same day: x minutes or y hours ago

            then > 24h, yesterday

            then > 48h on weekday

            finally > week the date and time of message

            this must be linked to the settings of the application used for the Community

            application maintained by Swisscom or an external service provider??
