Because probably a cell phone is being used that does not support UMTS900 (UMTS/3G on mobile frequency band 8 => 900 MHz).

    https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobilfunkfrequencies_in_der_Switzerland

Swisscom is currently switching off its 2G/GSM mobile network:

That’s why NOW it is mandatory to use a UMTS900-capable mobile phone in combination with a Swisscom SIM card!

Use the information on the gsmarena.com website to check whether the mobile phone used supports UMTS900.

    https://www.gsmarena.com/

\=> Click/press “EXPAND” in the “Network” line. There must be something with “UMTS 900” or “HSDPA 900” for the European models.

If NO, buy a UMTS900-capable cell phone as quickly as possible and dispose of the old cell phone in electronic waste or sell it on eBay Germany.

If YES, measure the signal strength (RSCP), signal quality (Ec/Io) and the currently used mobile phone antenna (PSC) with a “Network Monitor”:

The measurement results (screenshots or photos of the “Network Monitor”), including information:

    - the exact location (statement of the street)

    - the mobile phone antenna used

    - the model of mobile phone used

publish here. So that troubleshooting and fault isolation can be carried out. The measurements with the “Network Monitor” must be carried out outside, outside of any building or vehicle shell (outdoor)!

    - Heating controls

    - TomTom GPS (live service)
