I didn’t want the new OS, it was simply installed, with the result that I can almost no longer read the text.

I’m not aware of any promo, or at least I’ve never benefited from it. But it was announced here in the community.

There have often been promos for the UHD box in the past.

At that time, the offer was to replace the HD box with the UHD box at a reduced price of CHF 69.

My wife with reduced vision (NHA) had the same problem.

The font can be set to large under the TV-Box “Accessibility” settings.

It helped for her, so I would give it a try.

The most helpful answer is (once again) definitely the one from @Werner!!!

Is it possible to change the background color somewhere in the settings? After a setup, all of the backgrounds suddenly have bright white fonts against a dreary and very ugly black background. We feel like we’re at a funeral!

Since the new update I can no longer switch the TV guide to a channel. Approximately 5 channels are always displayed. Is that no longer possible? would be a very, very shame

Now the only question is whether the new release will also recognize which episodes of a series you have already recorded during series recordings. This doesn’t always have to be recorded twice or multiple times, which ultimately only costs valuable storage space. I’m excited and doubtful!

Black is more energy-efficient for OLED TVs and easier on the eyes in dark rooms. So I think it’s better than the white one. When changing from Swisscom TV 1 to 2, it bothered many people that the background color changed from blue to white.

It would also be interesting to see whether the ‘already seen’ flag is no longer reset when a repeat is broadcast^^

So if I change the accessibility to large, the font only becomes about 5mm larger in the Quide, that doesn’t help and I have a 55 inch TV

No, we can’t. We are just customers like you.

@Kevauvoth39 you cannot download the update yourself, this happens automatically in the background, very important leave TV-Box in standby mode and never switch off the router.

At some point you will notice the dark mode interface, then you have received the update.
