Hello @Chips
Have you already restarted the IB3?
Do you see all the devices that you have plugged in via the cable?
What is important is that you have already sent the report to the special address.
In my case, two devices were no longer visible, but after a reboot all devices were there again. I reported this immediately.
Greetings Lorenz
@Chips the image of the IB3 device list is incomplete? Behind the “Mac Address” column you should see a pencil and a downward arrow for each device. Click on it and you can delete the grayed out WiFi box. Then restart everything and repeat pairing with cable.
Do you already have the latest software on the WiFi box?

I’m having some problems putting the IB3 into operation on my G.fast Anschluss
— IB3 Connected switched on it flashes red white Certainly waited 40 minutes.
— Performed a reset on recommendation. Switched off/on. Still flashing red/white after 1 hour.
— Switched off again. Replaced new GF cable. Turned on
Flashes red/white again after an hour.
— I’ve now given up and my IB 2 is connected and works fine.
Try to connect the IB 3 overnight and let it search with the hope of having a connection tomorrow.
If. If anyone has an idea I would be grateful. I’m not at work now and I’ll let you know as soon as I’m at work.
Now a question about the new “test phase” with the new IB3. According to information, the IB3 is doing a new test phase. Question: How long does the testing phase take until it is set in stone?
Was quickly in the Swisscom shop (but it has nothing to do with the IB2 or the IB3. The seller said that I could benefit from the promo. Internet M to Internet L 12 months additional (i.e. the 10 francs for free). According to Checker I have with g.fast Download: max. 225 Mbit/s Upload: max. 50 Mbit/s. Currently I have a good 200 Mbit/s.
After a good 2 days under 192.168.1.1 it now says the following:
Measured values for your Internet connectionSynchronization speedUpstream101816 kbit/sDownstream417455 kbit/sSignal-to-noise ratioUpstream6.2 dBDownstream6.3 dBLast synchronization1 day 12 hours 44 minDSLAM chipset type (network equipment)BroadcomVectoringActivatedDSL Datapump VersionA2pvfbK046j.d27fFEC since last synchronizationUpstream3027791Downstream51923885
CRC since last synchronizationUpstream3216Downstream17
Since I’m in the testing phase, I’ll probably be back to around the same level as the checker was before (before I had IB2 I had around 220,000 kbit/s). The CRCs don’t bother me at the moment, they’re already being slowed down.
Last year the overhead line was re-laid (partly replaced - again tnx 😎 I’m still so happy).
Now about the test phase and the thing with the seller in the shop: Should I first wait until the test phase is finished and then switch to Internet L as a test or does that destroy the test phase NOW? As I said, I don’t want it right away, I’m just interested in how it works…
@Roger G It was once said that something “could” happen in terms of g.fast 😁
Hello @Gupriplold44
Have you tried entering the following in the browser when the IB3 looks red/white?
swisscom.com/start
This allows you to initiate registration.
But it can also be the case that you have to wait longer. I have sometimes waited over 30 minutes for customers with the IB2 until the reg ran smoothly.
Greetings Lorenz
The subscription you paid has nothing to do with the test, it is purely a financial question.
You can also switch online multiple times across all subscription levels on the same day, each only takes a few minutes and works very well.
The fact that your IB3 is currently syncing so high is probably very temporary, because your error values are far too high at the moment.
If the automatic stabilization process of the IB3 is the same as that of the IB2 (which is highly likely), you will be back to your previous access profile in a few days.

So I let the IB 3 search the whole night. Conclusion.. Still flashing red/white.
There is also no internet connection via Swisscom.com/Start.
WiFi doesn’t work either. No internet.
I also don’t have access to the router because there is no internet connection.
Definitely suspect a hardware problem. IB2 works perfectly.
But what’s funny is that there’s TV…
But I’ve now connected the IB 2 again. I can’t get any further.
So now the IB3 has been on the line again since this morning.
No reboot for 4 hours.
The following suspicion arises for me.
The IB3 has problems with my WLAN BOXes, because these probably cause the IB3 to crash. (constant reboots)
There were never any problems with the IB2.
Let’s see what support will tell me today.
The measurements don’t look bad.
