Hello everyone

I solved the DynDNS problem!

After a factory reset, it works again.

I now got a different IP address and now it also works under Windows.

So I have to say I’m very satisfied so far. Installation worked great. Backup was restored and everything was back, including VPN.

I find WiFi better than IB 2 (range signal strength).

I hadn’t rebooted yet.

I think the included operating instructions are great.

I’m just about to put the IB 3 into operation. The red and white has been flashing for about 40 minutes. Is this normal? or do I have to pay attention to something?

I’ve now tested everything. Everything works, even VPN and VPN telephony via Home App. There’s just one thing wrong: I can’t pair the WLAN-Box with the IB3 in any way. I really tried everything, like resetting the WLAN-Box, rebooting the IB3 as well as the WLAN-Box and Ethernet connection. Nothing helps, the WLAN-Box lights up red permanently and logically does not appear on the IB3 device list. Reported the error.

But otherwise everything is perfect. This router will certainly never get warm, even in summer, with all these ventilation holes.

Hello @Chips

Put the WLAN-Box practically next to the IB3 and just press the + keys, what happens then?

I only know that from the IB2 field that I have to coax the WLAN boxes there from time to time until it works.

You can then also connect the network cable, use ports 1-4 and not the 2.5GHz

I had it too.

Restart or reset again.

I really tried everything. My fingers hurt from pressing the pairing button. When pressed, the white LED on the WLAN-Box only lights up briefly and then lights up constantly red again.

Unfortunately, even good persuasion doesn’t help, I’m already thirsty from talking so much. I tried everything from 3cm to 3m distance. Even 15m doesn’t work.

Did you reset the WLAN-Box on the ground?

Is there any data from the WLAN-Box still available in the IB3 menu?

Did you use the included LAN cable when pairing?

Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

Leave the WLAN box cable on and just restart the IB3

Take a look at the WiFi channels to see if they are the same on the IB3, maybe take them under 64 and under 11

Hello @Chips

Have you already restarted the IB3?

Do you see all the devices that you have plugged in via the cable?

What is important is that you have already sent the report to the special address.

In my case, two devices were no longer visible, but after a reboot all devices were there again. I reported this immediately.

@Chips the image of the IB3 device list is incomplete? Behind the “Mac Address” column you should see a pencil and a downward arrow for each device. Click on it and you can delete the grayed out WiFi box. Then restart everything and repeat pairing with cable.

Do you already have the latest software on the WiFi box?

After 2 hours of telephone support with Swisscom, the IB2 is now connected to the line again.

Now everything is working again.

The IB3 doesn’t really want to.😕

@kaetho

Thanks Thomas. I’ll delete the unpaired WLAN-Box, I actually haven’t tried that yet, and then repeat the whole process again. But I won’t get back to it until Friday.

I’m having some problems putting the IB3 into operation on my G.fast Anschluss

— IB3 Connected switched on it flashes red white Certainly waited 40 minutes.

— Performed a reset on recommendation. Switched off/on. Still flashing red/white after 1 hour.

— Switched off again. Replaced new GF cable. Turned on

Flashes red/white again after an hour.

— I’ve now given up and my IB 2 is connected and works fine.

Try to connect the IB 3 overnight and let it search with the hope of having a connection tomorrow.

If. If anyone has an idea I would be grateful. I’m not at work now and I’ll let you know as soon as I’m at work.
