Your PC probably doesn’t know the router, take a look under release and you’re connected to a new router. Windows also wants something

Hello Hed
I didn’t receive any. According to the App Store Info it is version 10.19.2.
The official Home App is probably not yet 100% compatible with IB3.
Since I am also a test user for the Home app, I receive it via this channel.
I don’t know whether, when and how the IB3 testers will be provided with home app betas.
The productive Home App certainly does not yet fit 100% with IB3.
Deleting and reinstalling it from the App Store solves some things but not quite everything.
For me, for example, the WLAN speed test always shows 0 when uploading, which is of course definitely not true.
What already works very well is landline telephony via VPN to the IB3 with the Home App.
I made several phone calls in HD quality with it today.
Stable connections, very good sound quality, rather better than directly via the mobile network

Hello @Poweruser
Hello
Your message in the forum does not solve the problem.
I have various Internet Boxes 3 on which Dyndns is set up.
e.g
xy.internet-box.ch
ab.internet-box.ch
With an IB3 you can ping the Dyndns name from the PC. This also gives an answer.
With both Dyndns you can establish a VPN connection from your Android phone.
I restarted the IB3 remotely and didn’t need any improvement.
Have you noticed this too, or am I the only one?
Greetings Lorenz
I’ve now tested everything. Everything works, even VPN and VPN telephony via Home App. There’s just one thing wrong: I can’t pair the WLAN-Box with the IB3 in any way. I really tried everything, like resetting the WLAN-Box, rebooting the IB3 as well as the WLAN-Box and Ethernet connection. Nothing helps, the WLAN-Box lights up red permanently and logically does not appear on the IB3 device list. Reported the error.
But otherwise everything is perfect. This router will certainly never get warm, even in summer, with all these ventilation holes.
Hello @Chips
Put the WLAN-Box practically next to the IB3 and just press the + keys, what happens then?
I only know that from the IB2 field that I have to coax the WLAN boxes there from time to time until it works.
You can then also connect the network cable, use ports 1-4 and not the 2.5GHz

I’m just about to put the IB 3 into operation. The red and white has been flashing for about 40 minutes. Is this normal? or do I have to pay attention to something?
I had it too.
Restart or reset again.

Did you reset the WLAN-Box on the ground?
Is there any data from the WLAN-Box still available in the IB3 menu?
Did you use the included LAN cable when pairing?

Hello @Chips
Have you already restarted the IB3?
Do you see all the devices that you have plugged in via the cable?
What is important is that you have already sent the report to the special address.
In my case, two devices were no longer visible, but after a reboot all devices were there again. I reported this immediately.
Greetings Lorenz
@Chips the image of the IB3 device list is incomplete? Behind the “Mac Address” column you should see a pencil and a downward arrow for each device. Click on it and you can delete the grayed out WiFi box. Then restart everything and repeat pairing with cable.
Do you already have the latest software on the WiFi box?
