The orders ultimately all end up in one pot. From there it goes to FIFO. The only question is, how do they get there? There are different channels (online shop, Swisscom shop and hotline). So, if you order in the online shop at 1:40 a.m., you don’t necessarily have to be in the pot earlier than someone who orders at 8:00 a.m. via the hotline. There are probably still a few interfaces hanging in between, etc. And when the servers are down, you can imagine the rest.

I just find it strange that the orders from September 19th. are not finished yet. Others after September 20th ordered already have a delivery date. Thank you from September 19th. but still “delivery time unknown”. This can’t be allowed!

Take it easy. I ordered my iP6 128Gb at 1.30 and also have to wait. Space Gray is and has always been the most popular color. Plus, Swisscom is at least doing something. You don’t hear anything about Media Markt and Mobilezone. Not even if you ask. At the same time, Mobilezone complains that you are selling the cell phone from midnight. But whatever, I’m going to pick up my first iP 6 from Apple tomorrow…. Can’t wait!:smileysurprised:

I also got my iPhone 6 PLUS 128 GB on September 19th. Ordered at 7:30 a.m. and haven’t received a delivery date yet.

Slowly but surely you are realizing that iPhone 6 Plus with large memory in particular are not being delivered!

If Swisscom announces that it will operate according to the FIFO principle, it should be done that way. If someone places an order on September 19th, it should also be processed before the order on September 20th. No matter what channel the order arrives through. The date the order was placed should count. Otherwise I can say straight away that trading is not carried out according to the FIFO principle. When I pre-ordered the iPhone 5, I received a possible delivery date within 3 days. And the delivery date for the iPhone 6 is still a long time coming.

What is your experience?

Should you call the hotline and get things done? Is it worth it?

@mrcel I chatted with a Swisscom employee earlier. But don’t think that helped. Thanks to the lady’s talkativeness, I now have a little leverage regarding FIFO, which I will rub under the noses of the Swisscom employees in the shop this evening and put pressure on them.

You don’t seriously believe that a Swisscom shop employee has even the slightest hint of power to intervene in the order. Fortunately! Because otherwise all of us who don’t have such an employee as a colleague would be stuck for a few weeks 😉

Have any of you not received the tracking number from the post office via the hotline? I even called beforehand and the lady didn’t have a number either.

Ohh… the shop employees will shit their pants straight away if a 20 year old comes along and puts pressure on them…

My goodness… I would like to see you if you worked in a shop and one iPhone freak after another complained about the same crap. Go easy on the poor souls - they already have it hard enough! And do something for your karma - it definitely needs it!

Whether you get your iPhone tomorrow or in a week… my goodness, the world won’t end!

When I went to the Swisscom shop for the iPhone 5, I was given a case for the iPhone as compensation for the long waiting time and I didn’t have to pay the first monthly bill for my subscription. If I don’t receive the iPhone 6+ in a reasonable time or if I see that Swisscom isn’t strictly adhering to the FIFO principle, I’ll put pressure on it.

@darietto I received the tracking number via chat
