Update in Post 1
I bought the Montreux today and connected it to Swisscombox 2.0.
Everything worked without any problems, but when you’re on the phone you can hear a huge hum and a lot of hissing noise!!! You can only hear the connected person very quietly in the background.
I am very disappointed with this HD telephony.
Does anyone else have these huge problems with the Montreux? What could it be?
Rebooting from the SC box and the phone didn’t help.
Sorry for the typos, I’ll try harder now: smileywink: promise!
I just found out that the noise can only be heard through the speaker on the ear cup. With the hands-free speaker, there is no noise and the sound is much clearer.
I may have caught a bad egg and there is a defect in the Montreux.
This is probably a guarantee return, but it’s still annoying. I expect a Swisscom device to be tested better before delivery.
Like all devices, the Montreux are tested several times during production and when they arrive at our premises, we take statistically relevant samples. However, it can happen that a device is damaged during transport. This is of course unpleasant for the buyer and I can only apologize for it.
@ballu: what kind of problems did you have? I used all 4 HD phones at the same time and couldn’t find any serious problems. Of course, there are always 2-3 things that still need to be improved and we are working on that. The Montreuxs will receive the first software update in September.

The update was carried out yesterday, after which I had to manually reconnect the phone to the Internet box. The date has not been updated since then.
Do you have a tip?
I don’t have Montreux, but reset the IP phone completely!
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.
The firmware update was just carried out automatically on my Montreux HD phone (shortly after I placed it on the base station to charge.
The update took about 10 minutes and went through without any problems. The device then automatically logged on to the Internet box again and took over the correct date and time as well as the call lists.
The firmware version is now SC100vH0035.
I didn’t find any changes or innovations in the menu or settings. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any information anywhere about what exactly was changed or added (as, for example, with the Internet box, this is communicated in detail in the support area).
Hi,
At the moment we are still correcting small errors that may cause problems in certain situations.
My name is currently being misused in the reviews on the Montreux product page or it is being assumed that I or my colleagues write reviews there. This is not the case. I don’t want to say anything more about it.

Otherwise, reset the Internet box to factory settings (possibly save the configuration first)
Judihuiii resetting the Internet box to the factory settings brought the desired improvements.
Merciii
P.S. Backing up the factory settings in advance is almost a must and restoring them is child’s play. And wonderfully, the address book is still there.
Hello
I have been the owner of Montreux since today. At first it didn’t take the current time and date from the Internet box. However, a factory reset of the IB fixed the problem.
Basically I’m happy with the Montreux, the design matches the rest and it also feels good in the hand.
The only thing I miss is the ability to assign different ringtones to contacts. Can I expect this function to be added in a later SW update or is this not planned?
Greetings
@Phile you may find details here or you can perhaps post your input there:

Hello
Thanks for your feedback. We have not yet decided whether and what functions we will implement. First we look at which functions are most desired. That’s how we do it with the Internet box. We have now added the speed test there, for example. More features will follow.
But first of all, have fun making calls.
Greetings
