For a few weeks now, I’ve been getting spatial audio rather than 5.1 audio!

I called Swisscom who confirmed the problem…

Does anyone have any information?

    ❗5.1 surround sound is not supported for downloaded titles.

    The TV Box 5 no longer has an optical SPDIF/ Mini-TOSLINK interface.
    How is your TV Box 5 connected to the TV or sound system?
    Which TV exactly do you have and which sound system are you using?

    Otherwise you can use the TV Box 21 again if it works better.

      Unfortunately, I can’t really help you as I don’t know your TV model, the sound system or your exact setup.
      With my IP2300 / TV Box5 I can use Netflix (with Premium subscription) with Dolby Vision incl. Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 and Dolby Atmos without any problems.
      So the problem must be local to you.
      In addition, there is certainly no known audio 5.1 problem with the Netflix app that Swisscom is aware of.
