There is already an extensive thread on this topic:

In addition: The market is free and highly competitive with promotions. Nobody has to be at Swisscom. If you want to save, switch after the minimum contract period has expired or negotiate later. It’s a bazaar!
So, this is the right place. It doesn’t help the overview at all to open a new thread over and over again with the same topic! I have no idea what makes another frustrated comment necessary this Saturday evening. The prices will not change again and many other customers have already received complaints. Even though I can definitely understand the anger, as I said, the market is free and everyone can and is allowed to choose their own provider.
100% surcharge for services not required.😡
This Multiroom Max is great!!! Do I have to buy a second home so that I can benefit from this subscription? We only have one additional device in the apartment (previously 5.00) and now we have to pay twice as much for the same thing. Dear Swisscom, you’ve outdone yourself once again. It’s probably time to find another provider!
Many people agree with you here, but it is what it is.
Either book just 1xStream or swallow the price increase of 4.90 CHF and then drink one less coffee
If you become a social worker because of the 4.90 CHF, you will have to switch to Wingo or Teleboy.
or negotiate a deal with the termination department see here:

as my colleague @millernet said.
P.S. At Sunrise you pay CHF 10 per additional stream.

@Frijogron35 your statement “100% surcharge for services not required” is not always true.
- If you don’t need Multiroom and therefore haven’t booked it, there is exactly 0.- surcharge. Otherwise you will have booked something that you didn’t need before.
- If you have already booked an additional TV multiroom, then your statement is correct. For 2 TVs you now pay a surcharge of 9.95 instead of the previous 5.-
- But if you (like me) have 3 or more TVs in use, the price drops by at least 4.95/month, or even 9.95/month. Also from my point of view: “Yes, Swisscom is outdoing itself again” 😉
I understand the excitement, but at some point Swisscom has to clean up and clear up options. How these clean-up actions are received on the market will be communicated by market participants with “purchase” or “not purchase” of a product or service. “vote” on it. As long as this communication does not take place with a provider, everything will remain the same. Anyone who just makes the famous fist in the bag or leaves an angry post in this forum will have no influence. Action must also follow (=change of provider). Swisscom is already overstretching the line a bit:
- Home App is switched off: [https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Home-App/Home-App-funktionen-neu-in-My-Swisscom/td-p/733666](https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/ Home-App/Home-App-Functions-new-in-My-Swisscom/td-p/733666)

The expensive “premium” product is constantly being undermined and suddenly you are charging monthly fees for services that have been included for years. Basically the nickel-and-dime tactic.
From 5.- to 9.90 per month?!?! Almost 100% price increase just like that? Even though the previous subscription was easily enough for us?
Sorry Swisscom. Now you’re really going too far!!!
You constantly cancel existing subscriptions and replace them with new ones. And that’s with existing LONG-TIME customers. Is this really your way of treating loyal customers?
Without us… we are canceling the multiroom option immediately and will also look for another provider for TV and Internet.
I’ve been a Swisscom customer for ages. I have two TVs at home. The “Multiroom Option” product for CHF 60 per year met my needs exactly. Now, without asking, I am presented with the product “Multiroom Max” for Fr. 118.80. I now have three additional device connections for this, but I don’t need them.
I get the impression that a quasi-monopoly position is being abused here. Asking almost twice as much for nothing, what a stupid offer that is. Where are the elected representatives of the people who demand some moderation from this parastatal enterprise? Or does Swisscom need money for your shopping trip in Italy?
And one more request at the end. Save yourself your AI-generated standard answers. The content is simply too low level.
It’s just getting more expensive, there’s nothing you can do about it, period!!!
There are only 3 possible choices:
1. I swallow the toad of price increases totaling 19.70 CHF
Internet, TV and multi-room and make a fist of it.
2. I am negotiating with Swisscom about termination via hotline 0800 800 800 or Chat
3. I’ll change provider if this price increase makes me a social security issue to other providers
like Wingo or Teleboy.
P.S.: other providers charge CHF 10 per additional stream (Sunrise)
@“x”#65426As a “super user” you are probably hired by Swisscom. Statements like: “It’s just getting more expensive, there’s nothing you can do about it, period!!!” It’s difficult to point to this. You’ll probably make the same statement to your shopping center, your health insurance company, your electricity provider, your landlord, etc. etc.
Good luck to those who have such customers.
Oh and one more thing about the flippant statement “if this price increase makes me a social worker”. Maybe you’re a bed of roses. Maybe you belong to the class of successful heirs, or whatever. But there are also other people in our society for whom a franc less here and a franc less are a hassle there. Fortunately, I am not one of them, but as a member of our society I also feel connected to the weaker ones. But that’s probably strange to you.
@So-nicht I am not hired by “Swisscom”!!!
This is my opinion!!!
I also have to look at what I spend my money on, but I don’t make as much of a fuss about it as you do.
Everything just gets more expensive and now…? You just have to come to terms with it and replan your expenses.
If something is too expensive for me, I don’t turn it into a drama queen like you, I just go somewhere else where it’s cheaper if I can’t afford it anymore, it’s that simple.
No one is forcing me to buy more expensive things than I can afford.
I’m not writing to Globus, Manor, Coop and the like that shopping with them is so expensive that I can’t afford it, right?
Then I’ll just go shopping somewhere else at Aldi and the like, it’s that simple.
I just wanted to point out that a price increase is annoying, but it is not the end of the world, as is often shown in these articles.
There are alternatives, but they’re just not convenient because you have to do something about them.

Nope, but the bottom line is that it still can’t be changed. If a product at Migros has become more expensive again, that annoys me too. Then I either buy it anyway, as it is, or I don’t buy it anymore, or I buy another product, or I go to another store to buy it. The customer has the choice. By the way… nothing is written with AI there. Please stick to the truth.
We “Super Users” are customers like you and me and help wherever possible, and we also pass on our opinions just like others do.
I also think the whole pricing behavior is not good, especially for the older generation, I also said my opinion about it in the link below.
But as mentioned, there are alternative options, which are not so easy with health insurance companies and electricity providers.

That’s right, as a customer I have a lot of choice. I could also go to Teleboy or Zattoo, they are cheaper. But in terms of ease of use, it’s not nearly as pleasant as Swisscom. I have blue Sport for this, with other ISPs I would have to use the app, I have no recording function and possibly no highlight markers. That’s how I afford Swisscom, where the price-performance ratio is okay for me.
That’s why I save somewhere else.
I avoid the expensive Thomy products and use Denner mayo and mustard.
I pay more attention to actions.
I cook larger portions and put the rest in the freezer.
Instead of buying expensive soda, I make myself tea.
Well, now I have to stop, otherwise this will become a novel.
“If a product at Migros has become more expensive again, that annoys me too…”.
Bad comparison: If, for example, a pack of pasta is 50 cents more expensive at Migros (or Coop, Lidl, Aldi, etc.), I pay that for each pack. If I buy one pack, I pay 50 centimes more, if I buy two packs, I pay one franc more, etc.
But if I just need an additional TV-Box I pay around twice as much. If I get 3-5 I pay massively less! This is an unparalleled outrage!
No, why is the comparison bad? You have enough choice otherwise you can buy a different product, a different brand in a different store, right? Pasta is a dime a dozen and not all of them cost exactly the same amount everywhere. Ultimately, this isn’t about Migros, Coop and Co., but with the comparison I just want to say that you as a customer also have the choice with Swisscom. In principle it behaves similarly. Either I cancel the option and no longer use it, downgrade my subscription so that it is generally cheaper again, or I cancel everything and switch to another provider. But as a customer you have to draw the necessary conclusions yourself, because nothing comes from nothing and then you will definitely pay more. Just saying “Mimimi” in this forum is not the solution either.
I don’t understand the hateful discussions in this forum. Anyone who lives on a subsistence level is well advised not to use Swisscom products (core brand), but rather the cheaper alternatives from competitors (Green, iWay, Teleboy etc.) or directly from Swisscom subsidiaries (Wingo, MBudget). With Wingo you get an older and more stripped down version of Bluewin/Swisscom/blue TV for much less money, e.g.:
- Internet “Extra”: 39.95.- Fr. / month (or any other Internet with “Promo”. => You can change at any time when new promotions are launched. This function only offers Wingo.) => Incl. InternetBox 3 or 4 with slimmed down firmware, but where more and more functions are being enabled.
- Wingo TV (Swisscom TV 2.0 “light” with Swisscom Box 21): 15.- Fr. / Month.
- Additional box (and unfortunately only one additional, not 3 or more): 5.- Fr. / month (incl. additional Swisscom Box 21, 29.- Fr. one-time fee for the box)
This means you can get fast internet with a good TV offering from Swisscom itself for just 59.90 Fr./month. Whenever there are promotions on TV or Internet, simply enter the promo code in the customer portal and you will automatically benefit from the promotional price like new customers.
What is important with Wingo is that the devices must be returned after the end of the contract. They are rental devices!
