Since the ADSL installation, the BBR socket types have changed four times. It is unlikely that Cablex still uses old can material (but it is also possible in some cases).
I have encountered it during various installations at electrical shops because they had connected it incorrectly.
With this type of socket you have to put Anschluss on terminals 1+2.
When possible I replaced these old cans.
Because of the existing bridge contact in the box (see picture) (sometimes causes problems after a few years)
Voice returns are no longer supported since IB3.
Voip I would install a CAT6 keystone for network cables + BBR keystone in the box.
I canât install these two things in the Feller regenerative power socket at the same time.
@Wiflieya80 I could take a look, otherwise you can write to me via private message here in the forum
However, it depends on where you live, I do BBR installations in the canton of Aargau and Lucerne (farther away there are simply higher travel costs, which is probably no longer worth it, neither for you nor for me)
Thank you to everyone who responded. I would like to try out the BBR can change, as I currently have the Feller return can. Can one of you list the best and most current can for G.fast? Possibly all required components. And what do you think will be an improvement?
Thank you very much!
Kind regards
Lyupco

BBR material
I canât say whether itâs an improvement if you just replace the BBR can.
I suspect not.
Itâs better to replace everything, including cables without branches in the telephone system.
After that, on February 2nd. Level Support your SNR can be increased to 6.0 dB.
If youâve done everything and it works stably, then I would say itâs achieved something.
Hello everyone.
As mentioned in Internet Booster 5G and g.Fast here is a summary of the Events at @Wiflieya80.
After patching his colleagueâs installation in this thread, he now comes up with the following values:
@Wiflieya80 Personally, I would call a Swisscom technician/to support a case open and the whole installation carefully and have your kidneys checked. If the fault is outside the home, this is completely free. If the fault is in the house, it is worth a visit from a technician đ.

Hi @Wiflieya80
Oh ok - then weâre in the right thread now?
What my real point is: The booster is not suitable for sticking like a band-aid on a broken line. If the DSL is unstable and has packet loss, the booster also suffers.
Thatâs why: First fix the line, then boost it đ

Have you already checked your installation? (Number of sockets, which ones are still connected, keyword Remove bridge taps)
What comes to mind now is to check whether both wires are connected correctly on the socket and on the UP.
And maybe @Roger G can analyze your line from the SC side?

In this case you donât have any bridge tabs đ
Bridge tabs are cable connectors or branches, often designed with WAGO clamps or similar. But they are now seriously disrupting the DSL signal, so they should be removed.
Then it could very well be that there is a problem in the SC part of the line.
Itâs best to wait for @Roger G to see if he can identify a problem.
