blue Internet M:

..how many will benefit from the new speed if there is no fiber optic or the Anschluss does not come to the house? Theory and practice are great. I hope that the speed with the 5G booster is at least partially compensated for for people who use copper.

At least in terms of downloading, everyone who doesn’t have a very long connection to g.fast will benefit. For example, my speed will increase from 300 Mbps to 500 Mbps without a booster.

I can switch my subscription “L” back to the subscription “M” and then save CHF 10.00 a month.

I currently have 540/200 Mbit/s with 5G booster support.

For me the 200Mbit/s upload is good.

@WalterB That’s exactly what I’ll do if, contrary to expectations, I find that I haven’t used the Top German + enough recently. Then I save another 1 CHF. When I came to Swisscom 4 years ago, I had Internet L, just as Internet M will be in the future. I didn’t find any significant advantage for myself by increasing it to 10 GBit/s 😀.

According to SC Checker, the 5G booster should have 650/100. I only give G.almost 250/50. I tested this a few times ago. Despite excellent reception, there was hardly any improvement. Up & down approx. 10 more each. In addition, IPv6 no longer worked. Does anyone have experience with this? Does IPv6 now work with the 5G Booster? Are the promised values achieved?

No values are promised, all information is maximum values that can be achieved under the most favorable conditions. This means optimal assembly/position of the booster and a radio cell that is only underutilized.

    I can’t say anything about IPv6, I don’t use it.

Yesterday I closed the Blue Tv app when I was on a channel that is one of those that will only continue to be available with regular use. Today the app stopped working, I had to uninstall and reinstall it on the iPad. What should I conclude from this? That nadisnaa is already being changed?

    Pure coincidence…

@Cabonesha Couldn’t understand the behavior, watched some Sony Axn, then got out of the app, switched off the phone, after switching it back on, everything still works. Let’s see what it looks like tomorrow, but I think @roku73 is right.

This message appears when activating IPv6 in conjunction with the 5G booster, I don’t need it myself.

However, you have the option to deactivate devices from support with the 5G booster.

After the many discussions about the channels of the new subscriptions, I read it.

    • The L subscription currently includes 395 channels and 20 channels from the German+ package for CHF 35
    • According to information from LL, there are now 330+ channels available for CHF 34.90. So around 85 fewer channels.
    • When I look at the channel lists of the German+ package, I see a lot of recordings there.
*I know that the channel lists apparently won’t be announced until 5/23/22.

For logistical reasons, it is not smart if this information is only announced when the 85 is switched off.

    • What will happen to the recordings of the channels in the German+ package if I no longer have them? I won’t know before May 23rd whether I’ve watched enough of these channels so that I can keep this package.
    • What happens to the recording of the switched off channels that are not included in Deutsch+?

I don’t want to lose these recordings on 5/23/22.

Can anyone give me some information so I can make arrangements accordingly?

@Stifu_77 Just don’t panic. Recordings will only be deleted if they are older than 2 years and you have not archived them manually, regardless of whether the channels are no longer included in your subscription.

The number of channels on the website has never been correct; there have always been significantly more, even if Swisscom has renamed the packages or adjusted the services.
