That also really fits into my current picture of Swisscom - nothing works as planned, there are a lot of small problems that ultimately drive the customer to distraction…

…but, I also know: Swisscom is untouchable and you shouldn’t complain - just keep all the trouble to yourself and don’t complain. After all, you can be happy and grateful that you can be a customer for a lot of money…:smileytongue:

BTW - does anyone else have the previous version of the firmware? Would like to downgrade…

This is a general problem since version 8. For some it works, for others it doesn’t. We will solve in version 8.5. Has nothing to do with the update. Maybe it was caused by the restart.

You are welcome to complain. I can only say sorry for that. There’s just nothing I can do at the moment. We are already working on 8.5. This will be a massive release, although I can’t say what will actually end up in the final version.

What are you so upset about at the moment?

I reset my IB2 using a button to get the list of known network devices back in order. After more than three hours, the LED is still flashing red/white, although all services were running again after less than five minutes. The Swisscom registration page also says that everything is fine.

With our initial analysis we cannot yet understand what the problem is.

For further analysis, we would like to give our software supplier remote access to the box.

Is OK.

PS: The red/white flashing is still present even after restarting the IB2 (whether via software or switch). Furthermore, the IB2 once again does not recognize my Mobotix webcam, which is connected via LAN, as being connected.

We looked at the problem internally. This was a parameter that was not set correctly. However, the box was otherwise not restricted in any way.

We discovered that a new factory reset had been done in the meantime. This should solve the problem.

Am I correct in assuming that the box has stopped flashing?

    Well, are the graphics correct on the IB2?

    With the IBPlus you can forget this, sometimes even negative values ​​are displayed, or well over 1Gb…

    However, stwin is also right: the numbers are the maximum that _can_ go over the line. The graphic would be what is actually needed at the moment.

    Yes, for sure. We are working on Release 8.5 with many under the hood changes. Hopefully the release will be in April. Since a few days we are testing the Blackbuild 2 which is not feature complete and some functions are implemented but are not visible in the web - GUI which will come with BB3 or later.

    We are discussing if we could make the BB2 available to public as a beta. Depends on the feedback of our testers and the internal testing results.

    It will be available for IBP, IBS and IB2. Features depending on hardware as always.
