I’m using the beta version of Sierra 10.0.2 and it worked fine for me. I removed.txt, confirmed that I wanted to keep.rui and then installed via the WebGUI.

That worked perfectly and now I have the 08.01.06 on it.

I just installed the new firmware.

So far everything works in the old version!
But the VPN phone call still doesn’t work for me.

Do I have to adjust or change anything to make this work again?

I can probably dial the number, but there is no ringing or buzzing tone and after a while (first it says “Dial”) it says “Call rejected” or simply nothing happens!

Sometimes you get the message “an error has occurred”!

It’s a shame this function still doesn’t work with the new software!

Have a nice Sunday anyway!

Marcus

Hello Herby

I made the beta based on the message from tomcat (above). He writes that calling via VPN would work again!

Well, it’s not that bad and I’ll easily survive it!:smileyvery-happy:

Fortunately, since I started using the IB2, the speed has also increased. Now we just have to wait and see, maybe it will go back again.

That’s why I’m eagerly waiting for the bonding, because it would give me a little more speed than just 20 Mbit/s or currently 27.64 Mbit/s!

Have a beautiful Sunday

I would be interested to hear your expectations regarding bonding.

I opened a new thread yesterday where your hopes might fit well:

@Quadro62 I just tried it again: turned on VPN, started app on iPhone, called woman on cell phone - works:smileywink:

@Tomcat Hello Tomcat, thanks for testing again. I tried this on iPhone and iPad, it doesn’t work on both. When I’m connected wirelessly, it works fine. With VPN it doesn’t work with both devices!

It’s time to wait and drink tea!:smileyhappy:

Thank you and have a nice day

I would like to help you further. Unfortunately, since I have an iPhone, this doesn’t work.

    Try it out!:smileyhappy:

    This MUST work!

    Greetings Marcus

    Hi Marcus,

    I appreciate it. Thank you.

I’ve tried a lot in the last two days:smileywink:. Maybe you can help me after all. What did you enter in the “L2TP key” and “IPSec Identifier” fields on your iPhone?

Previously had no problems establishing a VPN connection with the IB+ and Android 5.0.1.

      Hello Uwe,

That’s just the dog is buried, I’m not asked for this information!

But I think someone else here will definitely have a good tip for you!

      Greeting

      Marcus

PS I would be very surprised if you can make phone calls if the VPN works!

      Hi Marcus,

Should I help you find the two entries:smileywink:? No, just kidding:smileyvery-happy:. Yes, it must be because of these, although I’ve already tried a few things.

And if it ever works, I’ll of course try making calls via VPN.

      LG Uwe

      @FlySmurf

If I leave the fields blank, a VPN connection will not be established either.

Are you connected to WiFi at home?
If so, deactivate WiFi and try using the mobile network.
      I don’t have ibv2 running at the moment and can’t test it…
