Can’t you just set this device to UHD Color ON on the corresponding Anschluss?

This processes signals up to 50P / 60P 4.4.4 or 4.2.2.

So I can’t make any further adjustments to the little brother of this television and the manual doesn’t say anything about it either. Except that such signals can be processed in this mode.

I’m living quite well with it so far.

if you also have the 65 model

I have a question for you. Do you also have image splitting problems with your Samsung? We should have the same 65 model…

I received the wrong box (not UHD) from Swisscom. Should be replaced this week.

I will report back regarding image sharing problems as soon as I can make a statement.

I have a Samsung UE78JS9580 and wanted to ask you whether you should switch on the HDMI UHD Color function with the new Swisscom TV 2.0 UHD box or does it matter?

Does the Samsung TV still upscale the HD/SD channels even if HDMI UHD Color is switched on?

@Ravelgust Do you have HDMI UHD Color on?

I have activated the HDMI input on HDMI UHD Color.

The output from the Swisscom TV UHD box is already at UHD quality (resolution) and does not need to be scaled up by the TV.

You can also play with this screen a bit. Smart LED on high can create a pseudo HDR effect. It’s still cool when the car headlights are blinding 🙂

Ok, I have now switched on HDMI UHD Color.

What effect does this setting have on image quality?

Even better colors?

I don’t really see a difference

I’ll play around with Smart LED to test the pseudo HDR effect.

Cool, watch TV with sunglasses, otherwise the sunset will be blinding.:smileyvery-happy:

Yes, yes. But there is a beta firmware that fixes that.

I don’t currently have it on the device. Don’t need SCTV that often.

@Tux0ne I wanted to ask you where you got the beta firmware that is supposed to fix the problem?

I struggle with the image splitting problems several times a day and it’s getting annoying…

@Tux0ne Thanks for the info and it’s a shame that the limk no longer works.

Well then we hope that Samsung releases the update as quickly as possible.

I had the picture problem 3 times last night
