Three weeks ago I set up a user’s email account on a Windows 10 PC using the program at the link below.
[https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/loesung/e-mail-einrichten-reparieren.html](https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/loesung/e- mail-setup-repair.html)
I used the manual setup.
With the manual instructions you can set up your email program yourself step-by-step.
N.b. Important to use the correct password when setting up manually, which can be found in Kundencenter.
Installationen, Netzwerk, Internet, Computertechnik, OS Windows, Apple und Linux.

I’ve been trying to integrate my Bluewin account into Windows 10 Mail for a long time. But that doesn’t work!! Who can help me with this?
Hello
I made the attempt. On the one hand, the instructions (as described in the link) are for the ancient Windows mail program and on the other hand, it doesn’t work.
I have entered all parameters as far as possible. Then the synchronization started. The program spins and spins (is in progress…) but at some point it stops and nothing happens.
PS: The ports defined in the instructions cannot be recorded under Windows 10 Mail.
What now?

Hello Marcello_T
Have you been able to resolve your issue now? Otherwise, we recommend that you contact our colleagues from the My Service Team and discuss your questions with them: [http://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/mehr/myservice.html](http://www.swisscom. ch/de/privatkunden/mehr/myservice.html).
I had the same problem here. I then uninstalled McAfee Total Protection, now it works.
Swisscom also checks emails for viruses. And for the rest you need users who don’t immediately click on everything that flashes on the screen.
I have had to deal with viruses several times that were only detected by very few products when I checked on virustotal.com. 24 hours later the signatures were adjusted. But in the first few hours after a virus spreads, the only protection is the user and a patched system.
Apart from heuristic searches, every antivirus program only detects the malware that is known to the programmer at the time, has published an update and the local computer has loaded this update.
Therefore, there is always a period of time before the virus protection recognizes new malware as such.
Windows 8 and 10 already have built-in protection with Windows Defender. Any third-party software deactivates this and uses its own. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether this is better.

Your own Windows virus protection software was never good and has not improved!
But as already said, everyone can decide for themselves.
